An Executive Council member of The Church of Pentecost and former General Secretary, Apostle Alexander Nana Yaw Kumi-Larbi, has announced that The Church of Pentecost is transitioning from the pilot phase to full implementation of its integrated church-wide IT system, marking a significant milestone in the Church’s digital transformation agenda.

The announcement was made during the opening session of the National IT Training for ministers and clerks in the Ashaiman Area.

Speaking at the event, Apostle Kumi-Larbi, who also serves as the Ashaiman Area Head and Greater Accra RCC Coordinator, said the digitalisation initiative was conceived years ago as part of the Executive Council’s vision to establish a technology-driven administrative system capable of supporting the Church’s expanding global mission.

According to him, the Church in the United States has already been successfully integrated into the system, while extensive efforts have been undertaken over the past four years to onboard churches across Ghana.

Apostle Kumi-Larbi noted that the project has now reached a critical stage, where the focus is shifting from testing to implementation.

“We are now moving from piloting to full implementation. After today’s training, we are applying it because that is where the Church has decided to move.”

He called on ministers and clerks to embrace the system wholeheartedly and contribute to its successful implementation across all levels of the Church.

Apostle Kumi-Larbi further commended Pastor Paul Odai Laryea and his team for their dedication and technical expertise in steering the project through its pilot stages.

Encouraging participants to remain committed to excellence, Apostle Kumi-Larbi drew lessons from the Book of Proverbs, emphasising the value of diligence in ministry and administration.

“The diligent shall rule, and the diligent person will stand before kings.”

He stressed that commitment, excellence, and consistency would be essential to ensuring the success of the Church’s digital transformation agenda.

The National IT Training forms part of The Church of Pentecost’s broader effort to fully deploy its integrated administrative system by the end of this year.

The initiative is expected to improve administrative efficiency, strengthen data management, and enhance coordination across the Church’s global operations.
