The Head of Sound and Studio at Pent Media Centre, Mr Daniel Nuamah, has urged church media teams to approach their work with seriousness, excellence, planning, and commitment, stressing that ,”church service is production.”

He made the remarks during a media training programme organised by The Church of Pentecost, Shalom Worship Centre, Abeka, on Saturday, May 23, 2026. The event was held under the leadership of the Resident Minister, Apostle James Orhin Agyin, to equip media personnel with practical skills and knowledge for effective ministry.

The training brought together members of the district media team and other participants interested in media operations. Facilitators included Mr Jeffery Tutuani Sowah, Graphics and Animation Officer at Pent Media Centre, and Mr Kingsford Kyei Mensah, Head of In-Production at Pent Media Centre.

Speaking at the event, Apostle James Orhin Agyin said the initiative forms part of efforts to equip church media personnel with relevant skills to remain effective in an increasingly digital world.

Delivering the keynote presentation, Mr Nuamah recommended a structured media model for local churches. He identified three key units for an effective media ministry: the technical team, producers, and social content creators.

According to him, the technical team should oversee sound, camera operations, livestreaming, and lighting, while producers coordinate service flow, prepare projection materials, and ensure smooth execution. Social content creators, he noted, should focus on script writing, sermon summaries, interviews, and digital engagement.

“If church media teams adopt a structure like this, it will ensure a smooth flow of service and production without surprises,” he stated.

Mr Nuamah also highlighted the importance of rehearsals and preparation, noting that they help teams test equipment and resolve technical challenges before services begin. He encouraged participants to remain innovative and Christ-centred, describing media as a powerful tool for evangelism and discipleship.

The programme concluded with specialised sessions in sound engineering, videography, photography, livestreaming, projection, and social media content creation.
