A National Executive Committee Member of the Chieftaincy Ministry of The Church of Pentecost, Elder Nana K. Gyasi, has urged traditional rulers to practice servant leadership, noting that true royalty is defined not by power and privilege, but by humility and service to the people.

Speaking as guest speaker at the maiden edition of the Offinso Area Royals’ Conference, held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at the Offinso Newtown Central Assembly auditorium, the Chief Executive Officer of Nana K. Gyasi Company Limited emphasised that effective leadership is demonstrated through selfless service, humility, and faithfulness to God.

“Irrespective of your status as a traditional leader, do what is required of you by God and His work: faithfulness, loyalty, humility, and selflessness. Working with these qualities is like sowing a precious seed—it will germinate, grow and bear much fruit,” he said.

The award-winning businessman outlined key values for Christian chiefs, including justice, righteousness, love, mercy, integrity, honesty, forgiveness, reconciliation, gratitude, self-control, and responsibility. He commended The Church of Pentecost for establishing the Chieftaincy Ministry, describing it as a bold initiative that is winning traditional leaders for Christ.

He further encouraged stronger collaboration between the Church and traditional leaders, noting that such partnerships would accelerate development and nation-building.

“If we collaborate well with traditional leaders, we can easily transform every society and the entire nation,” he added.

In his closing remarks, Elder Nana K. Gyasi expressed appreciation to the Offinso Area Head, Pastor Justice Appiah Afful, for the invitation, and encouraged the Area to continue its efforts in advancing God’s Kingdom and the vision of the Church.

The conference was attended by Pastor Justice Appiah Afful and his wife, Mrs. Patience Appiah Afful, Nana Wiafe Akenten II (Offinsomanhene), accompanied by chiefs and queen mothers, Pastor George Kyeremanteng (Area Secretary), Pastor Joseph Kingsley Anokye (Area Chieftaincy Coordinator), the Area pastorate and their spouses, Elder Michael Owusu (Area Deacon), Deaconess Dorothy Asante Gyamfi (Area Women’s Ministry Leader), Area Executive Members, and a host of royals and chiefs from across Offinso.
