Elder Mysteriously Saved From Drowning Into Mining Pit

Elder Ernest Nyarko of the Bantama Extension District in the Kwadaso Area of The Church of Pentecost was mysteriously saved from drowning in a 2-mile-wide mining pit.

This happened when Elder Nyarko, a worker of Asanko Gold Mines at Manso Nkran, was to draw water from the pit for service last Sunday using a dump truck and service truck with his superior, an expatriate. He went for the first round, and during the second round, he realised that the intake could not carry the water well because it was draining the sand out. He had to descend to push the intake forward while holding the truck’s handle. Suddenly, he slipped, began drowning, and was carried away by the water.

He called out to his superior and other workers for assistance, but they could not help because of how risky the situation was. For about a minute, he went blank; he shouted and began speaking in tongues, followed by a spirited worship song. A while later, he lifted his hands to give up. Instantly, his feet landed on sticks in the moving water, which amazingly began to raise him and pull him back.

Gradually, he got out of the pit. Interestingly, after a thorough search, even breaking down the pit, the mysterious stick that saved his life could not be found.

This indeed testifies to the saving power of God even on the verge of death.

Blind Student Miraculously Regains Sight

“Blind” Student Miraculously Regains Sight

Mary Sam, a final-year student of T.I. Ahmadiyya Senior High School at Potsin in the Central Region of Ghana, has experienced a remarkable turn of fortune as her once-lost vision has been miraculously restored.

Mary, who is preparing for the impending West African Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), faced an unexpected challenge when she felt a foreign object make contact with her eyes, resulting in her tragic loss of sight. Despite various attempts to aid her, all efforts proved unsuccessful.

In an attempt to seek medical assistance, she was taken to Potsin Polyclinic at 2:00 pm, only to be subsequently referred to Breku Eye Specialist Clinic two hours later. After a thorough examination by the doctor, Mary’s case was initially deemed beyond the scope of medical intervention, and she was discharged without a concrete solution.

Faced with this adversity, Mary’s family returned to their home in Gomoa Dasum, determined to explore any potential avenue that could pave the way for her participation in this year’s crucial WASSCE. It was at this juncture that the suggestion to seek spiritual help at the Kwanyako District mission house of The Church of Pentecost was mooted and accepted by family members.

The family arrived at the mission house around 10:00 pm and was received by the District Minister, Pastor Emmanuel Essandoh, his wife, and some devout members of the church. Together, they engaged in fervent prayer for divine intervention.

In a breathtaking turn of events, Mary’s sight was miraculously restored. She is now eagerly preparing to resume her studies and take on her final year exams with unwavering resolve.

To God be all the glory.

Woman Receives Miraculous New Womb Following Surgical Removal

Priscilla Addai Amponsem, a nurse and a devoted member of The Church of Pentecost in Obuasi in the Ashanti Region, shares a remarkable testimony of receiving a new womb from God after surgical removal by doctors.

According to Priscilla, she was working a night shift in 2020 when she experienced unexpected bleeding accompanied by fluid and a strong odour.

She sought medical attention and was diagnosed with cervical cancer.

She embarked on a six-month treatment regimen, visiting the hospital every fortnight. Unfortunately, her condition deteriorated, and she ultimately had to undergo surgery to remove her damaged womb at age 25.

Priscilla revealed that she had also been diagnosed with bone cancer during her nursing training.

Her aunt, who resides in the USA, had extended numerous invitations for her to join her there.

Strangely, Priscilla found herself paralysed every time she received her aunt’s invitation, making it impossible for her to travel outside the country.

In February 2023, she attended a revival organised by the El-Shaddai Revival Centre of The Church of Pentecost in Konongo-Odumase to seek the Lord’s guidance regarding her desire to travel to the USA.

While in prayer with Elder Godfred Asare, the leader of the Centre, she entered into a deep sleep and had a dream in which she received three parcels.

Upon returning home, her mother informed her that she had dreamt of Priscilla having a baby. Encouraged by her mother, Priscilla reluctantly visited the hospital to check on her womb, though aware it had been.

To her astonishment, the scan revealed the presence of a new womb. Overjoyed, she attended the revival in March 2023 to testify that she had regained her menstrual cycle.

Priscilla attributed all the glory to God for this miraculous gift of a new womb.

200 People Saved From Near-Fatal Accident

The Kofiase District in the Mampong Area of The Church of Pentecost, together with the entire Kofiase Community, is profoundly grateful to God for saving the lives of about 200 people from a near-fatal accident.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at the premises of the Kofiase Central Assembly Church building.

On that eventful day, a meeting was underway at the Central Assembly auditorium, attended by around 200 caregivers of beneficiaries from the Kofiase Pentecost Child and Youth Development Center.

This non-governmental organization caters to the welfare of approximately 270 children from Kofiase and its surroundings.

In the course of the meeting, an unidentified articulated truck with registration number AS 988-13, without a driver on board, suddenly took off.

The truck bypassed a police station and a tailoring shop, eventually finding its way to the church premises where the meeting was being held. Miraculously, the truck came to a halt on its own, right in front of the Central Assembly church building.

Eyewitnesses present at the scene testified that had it not been for God’s intervention, the situation would have been catastrophic.

The Almighty God deserves to be praised for sparing the lives of these parents and staff members of the Centre.

Vehicle Catches Fire; Occupants Escape Unhurt

Pastor Samuel Amankwah Kyei, the Dodo Amanfrom District Minister of The Church of Pentecost, and Elder William Attam, the District Finance Chairman, experienced a miraculous escape from a potentially fatal situation on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.

The incident occurred around 6:30 pm when they were travelling back to Dodo Amanfrom in the district’s Mazda CX-7 vehicle after submitting their tithe proceeds at the Nkwanta Area Office in Nkwanta.

During their journey, the vehicle suddenly caught fire after approximately an hour of travel, just a few minutes away from Dodo Amanfrom. Sensing a strong smell inside the vehicle, they decided to stop and assess the situation.

To their astonishment, they discovered that the underside of the vehicle was engulfed in flames and that they had been unknowingly sitting on fire for some time. Their attempts to extinguish the fire using a fire extinguisher proved futile as the flames rapidly intensified.

With bravery, Pastor Kyei and Elder Attam managed to salvage some of their belongings from the vehicle before it was completely consumed by the fire.

Despite their efforts to seek assistance from passing cars, they were unable to flag down help. The exact cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.

By the grace of God, both occupants escaped the ordeal unharmed.

To God be the glory.

14 Years Of Cry Ends After Woman Delivers First Child web

14 Years Of Cry Ends After Woman Delivers First Child

Deaconess Christiana Baidoo-Gorman Armah and Elder Frank Armah, a devoted couple from the Downtown District of The Church of Pentecost in Kasoa, celebrated their long-awaited miracle after 14 years of longing for a child.

Their arduous journey through countless medical tests, medications, and even herbal remedies had left them feeling hopeless. Despite fervent prayers from Christian leaders, their dream of conceiving a child seemed unattainable.

However, their lives took a joyous turn when Pastor Andrews Owusu of Downtown District assumed his post as the district minister in 2021. Christiana, District Leader of the Children’s Ministry, shared their incredible story with Pentecost News, recalling the pivotal moment that altered their fate:

“A few months after Pastor Andrews Owusu joined our district, he invited my husband and me to the mission house. There, he assured us that God had answered our prayers and urged us to offer daily thanks in our prayers. Although skeptical, as we had encountered similar proclamations before, we remained faithful. And true to his word, God blessed us just weeks later, even when we had lost all hope.”

Christiana’s disbelief persisted even when her doctor confirmed her pregnancy during a routine check-up. She insisted on a second diagnosis, convinced it was an erroneous result due to her previous struggles. It wasn’t until her belly swelled with the miracle of life that she accepted the incredible truth.

On January 25th, 2023, precisely 14 years after their wedding anniversary, Christiana delivered a healthy baby boy at Ridge Hospital in Accra. The couple’s joy multiplied when their son was formally dedicated on April 22nd, 2023, in a ceremony officiated by Pastor Bernard Kwarteng of New Amanfrom District, representing the Downtown-Ofaakor Area Head, Apostle Dr. Benjamin Ali.

“I empathize with the pain of infertility and sincerely hope no woman has to endure it. Today, I am filled with joy, and my husband shares in this happiness. We are eternally grateful to God for finally answering our prayers. All glory belongs to Him,” she stated.

7-Year-Old Boy Prays Back Dead Father To Lifeweb

7-Year-Old Boy Prays Back Dead Father To Life

We often say there is hope for everyone unless the dead, meaning the dead can not be used for anything good again in this life of the living because it is impossible to bring back the dead to live. Therefore, as soon as a person gives up the ghost, that ends every hope, but in Christ Jesus, all things are possible, including the dead coming back to life as our Lord Jesus Christ did during his time.

A 7-year-old Sunday School boy of The Church of Pentecost, Emmanuel Kofi Kpentor, has miraculously exercised an unbelievable faith, bringing his dead father back to life.

The Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, narrated this miraculous event in his State-of-the-Church Address to councillors at the 46th Session of the General Council Meetings of the Church at the Pentecost Convention Centre at Gomoa-Fetteh, on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.

According to the Chairman, the boy’s father, Daniel Kwaku Kabre, was pronounced dead by the Worawora Government Hospital and was to be sent to the mortuary. As an idol worshiper, all hope was already gone.

“However, to the surprise of the nurses and doctors at the facility, his seven-year-old son, Emmanuel Kofi Kpentor, said he would not allow them to take the body of his dead father to the mortuary until he had prayed for the father to wake up,” an excited Apostle Nyamekye told the gathering.

Upon his insistence, the medical personnel allowed him to pray for the deceased father. Whilst transporting the corpse of Emmanuel’s father to the mortuary after his prayers, the ‘dead body’ started shaking, and was rushed back to the doctors for medical attention.

“By God’s grace, he was restored to life, surrendered his life to Christ, and, together with his wife, was baptised on June 26, 2022,”, Apostle Nyamekye said amidst cheers of praise from the gathering.

7 Healed Of Hearing Impairment

Seven members of the Mamprobi Zone in the Dansoman Area of The Church of Pentecost were miraculously healed of their hearing impairment during the recently-held Easter Convention at the Salvation Army Park, Mamprobi.

The seven people, four of whom were challenged from birth, are Alfred Aryee Tettey, Esther Boafo, Delali Kpodo, Vida Sorgah, Eunice Danquah, and Richard Tagoe.

The spectacular incident took place on Saturday morning, April 8, 2023, to the glee of the members from the nine districts of the zone, namely, Chemunaa, Glefe, Mpoase, Gbegbeyise, New Mamprobi, Mamprobi, James Mckeown Worship Centre (JMWC), Lartebiorkorshie, and Bethel, present at the event.

Among them were Apostle Emmanuel Agyei Kwafo, the National Coordinator for the Home and Urban Mission (HUM) and his wife, Mrs. Agyei Kwafo, as well as Mrs. Priscilla Hagan, the wife of the Youth Ministry Director.

Mrs. Rebecca Adwoa Sey, the wife of the Area Head, Dansoman Area, delivered a sermon at the event on the topic: “The Power of Dominance,” using a series of biblical illustrations.

Reading from Genesis 1:26 and Psalm 8:6, she hinted that God has a kingdom in Heaven and created man in his image and likeness to rule over the earth and become fruitful, multiply, subdue, and have dominion.

She explained that man’s disobedience to God denied him access to the authority earlier given to him. However, in the fullness of time, Christ came to earth in the form of man, died, and arose to give back the authority and power that was taken from him by the devil.

Mrs. Adwoa Sey added that Christ had to carry the cross to set humanity free, and without Christ Jesus, they do not have access to the power of dominance.

Pastor Vincent Tawiah Donkor, the Gbegbeyise District Minister, led the Church to pray for the youth for job opportunities, the unmarried to receive the grace to marry, and for persons with disabilities.

During the prayer, the seven deaf people received healing from hearing impairment.

“I Can’t Stop Walking” – Woman Miraculously Healed Of Stroke

Madam Agnes Agyemang, a 55-year-old resident of Trado, a suburb community in the Akuajoo District within the Kwahu Traditional Area, has received instant healing from stroke syndrome.

Affectionately called “Auntie Akosua,” Madam Agyemang had been suffering from stroke for the past year, during which she went into a coma for a couple of months.

During a house-to-house evangelism exercise last Saturday as part of the Kwahu Easter outreach, a team from the Evangelism Ministry of The Church of Pentecost encountered Auntie Akosua. At that time, she could not stand on her feet, having been unable to walk for two months since coming out of the coma. Her daughter, who was by her side at the time, showed the team drugs and hospital documents as evidence.

After the team prayed for her, Auntie Akosua rose to her feet and began walking about.  “I can walk, and I don’t feel any pain,” she exclaimed.

The next day, when the team visited her, Auntie Akosua was still reveling in the miracle that had taken place.

“I have not been able to sleep. I have been walking throughout the night because it has been many months since I walked,” she said.

To God be the glory!

Apostle & Wife Miraculously Saved From Stray Bullet n

Apostle & Wife Miraculously Saved From Stray Bullet

The Anyaa-Ablekuma Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle William Ohemeng-Kwakye, and his wife, Comfort, were miraculously saved from a stray bullet that made its way into the Area Mission House.

The spectacular incident happened on Sunday, January 15, 2023, few moments after Apostle Ohemeng-Kwakye had returned home from a series of Church meetings.

Speaking to PENTECOST NEWS, the Area Head said that, while on his way home, he heard a voice whisper to him the statement: “No weapon formed against you shall stand.”

He, therefore, reached for his Bible and read the text as written in Isaiah 54:17: “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the LORD.”

According to him, he reflected over the scripture over and over until he got to the Mission House.

At home, Apostle Ohemeng-Kwakye and his wife retired to bed at about 11:00pm after praying with the family.

“While lying on the bed and studying from my iPad, I suddenly felt the urge to move from the bed to the other side of the room,” he recounted.

He instantly obliged and sat on a bedside desk to continue his study.

Soon afterwards, a stray bullet from an unknown source penetrated the roofing sheet into the master bedroom onto the bed – close to the place he was studying.

The loud blast which accompanied the bullet woke Mrs Ohemeng-Kwakye up from her sleep.

“She began screaming thinking that it was the iPad that had exploded. But by God’s grace, no one was harmed,” he said.

The issue was reported at the Anyaa District Police Command, and a team led by the District Commander visited the mission house to assess the situation.

In furtherance to that, a team of experts was sent from the Police Headquarters, Accra, to also examine the situation, but no scientific proof was established.

It was later detected that the bullet penetrated the roofing sheet and the POP ceiling before landing on the bed.

“What makes the whole situation complex is that the mission house is a two-storey building, but it is surrounded by single-storey buildings, so we do not know how one could have shot into the building from the top,” he said.

The security personnel expressed dismay at the whole situation and thanked God for the mighty deliverance.
