Canadian Missionary Donates Boat To Buipe District Of The Church of Pentecost

A Canadian missionary, Evangelist Bradley Hugh, and his family and the JGLM Saskatoon Life Team have donated a flying boat and outboard motor worth GH¢30,000.00 to the Buipe District of The Church of Pentecost.

In November 2022, the Buipe District of The Church of Pentecost, under the leadership of Pastor Eric Owusu, in collaboration with Jesus Rescue Team (JRT), led by Pastor Michael Davies, organised an All Believers Crusade.

Evangelist Bradley Hugh of Life Hope Street Ministry, based in Canada, who attended the crusade in consultation with Pastor Owusu, pledged to purchase a flying boat to reach out to the many unreached people residing along the banks of the Black Volta.

According to Pastor Owusu, “The need for transportation has made it difficult to reach out to these individuals. Therefore, obtaining a flying boat would be a tremendous blessing.”

Supported by the JRT group, Evangelist Hugh donated the flying boat and the outboard motor this year. Apostle Francis Agyemang Badu, the Kintampo Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, commissioned it.

Pastor Eric Owusu expressed his heartfelt appreciation to Evangelist Bradley Hugh and his partners for the timely intervention.

“This generous contribution would significantly expand the Kingdom’s work in the community,” he stated.

Apostle Francis Agyemang Badu, on his part, advised the district to maintain the boat properly to ensure its longevity.

He offered prayers for Evangelist Bradley Hugh and his team, invoking God’s blessings upon them.

PIWC Goaso Hosts Gospel Dinner Night

The Pentecost International Worship Centre, Goaso (PIWC Goaso), a ministry of The Church of Pentecost, recently organised a captivating gospel dinner night named “Besorah.”

The event, a brainchild of the Resident Minister, Pastor Eric Herbert Acheampong, was held in collaboration with the Area Evangelism Ministry and the Home and Urban Missions (HUM) to climax the National Evangelism Week-long activities.

The participants engaged in a series of activities, including a red carpet and photoshoot session, an interaction with a Lifestyle Coach, stand-up comedy, and a soul-stirring “Bless the Mic” musical session, accompanied by a delightful selection of Ghanaian, Nigerian, and continental dishes.

In an address, Pastor Acheampong said that the event aimed to foster strong fellowship among members, saying, “This occasion is specifically designed to reach out to backslidden members and foreign nationals residing in Goaso.”

Speaking on the topic, “Come and Dine”- (John 21:12 and Revelation 3:18), Pastor Acheampong said that after causing a miraculous bounty catch of fish, Jesus invited the disciples to share in a meal.

Pastor Acheampong underscored the significance of Jesus’ invitation, describing it as “a special and heartfelt appeal to enrich lives through Him.”

“Jesus is the Bread of Life, the only sustenance on which we can truly feast,” he pointed out.

The Resident Minister further explained that Jesus’ plea for the disciples to come and dine was a personal invitation extended to all, irrespective of social class, race, colour, or status. This shows that God’s invitation knows no discrimination and is open to everyone.

“By accepting Jesus’ invitation and opening their hearts, individuals establish a relationship with Him and partake in fellowship through shared meals,” he added.

He highlighted that those who respond to this invitation are guaranteed eternal life.

In light of the approaching end times, Pastor Acheampong called upon those yet to embrace Christ as their Lord and personal Saviour to consider doing so. He emphasised the urgency of the matter.

The impactful ‘Besorah Dinner Night’ led to the salvation of nine souls, including commercial sex workers, and the rededication of other backsliders to Christ.

Aboakyer Festival Evangelism Outreach Records Over A Thousand Soulsweb

Aboakyer Festival Evangelism Outreach Records Over A Thousand Souls

In the heartland of Ghana’s Central Region, amidst the vibrant celebrations of the Aboakyer Festival, an extraordinary event unfolded, bringing forth a spiritual awakening and touching the lives of countless individuals.

This ancient bushbuck hunting festival, revered for its rich historical significance, drew both locals and tourists alike to the vibrant town of Winneba.

However, this year’s festivities took on an even more profound meaning as the Evangelism Ministry of The Church of Pentecost saw an opportunity to illuminate the festival with the light of the gospel message of Christ.

Led by the esteemed Elder Dr. Ken Aboah Esq., a trustee of The Church of Pentecost and a member of the Ministry’s National Executive Committee, the Evangelism team collaborated with the Winneba Area of the Church to embark on a series of evangelistic activities.

With passion burning in their hearts, the dedicated team engaged in a diverse range of outreach endeavours. They traversed the streets, knocking on doors and sharing the message of Christ through heartfelt conversations during their house-to-house evangelism efforts.

Emblazoned with powerful messages, they carried eye-catching placards, boldly proclaiming the good news to the festival-goers. And in a demonstration of compassionate care, they organised remarkable medical outreach, providing much-needed healthcare assistance to those in need.

The evangelistic activities reverberated throughout the festival, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts and souls of those who encountered the team.

The result of their unwavering dedication was astounding—a staggering 1037 individuals opened their hearts to the transformative power of Christ. Such a tremendous response filled the team’s spirits with overwhelming joy, as they witnessed lives being forever changed.

Among the countless testimonies of salvation, one story stood out as a testament to God’s miraculous touch. The team came in contact with a young man, plagued by the distressing condition of being unable to urinate without a catheter. With faith and compassion, they laid their hands upon him, praying fervently for his healing. Astonishingly, in a remarkable twist of fate, the young man experienced an instantaneous restoration of his bodily functions. No longer reliant on medical intervention, he rejoiced in the newfound freedom of being able to urinate naturally, witnessing the miraculous power of Christ firsthand.

In another awe-inspiring encounter, a man who had long been entrenched in occult practices made a life-altering decision. Captivated by the irresistible love of Christ, he surrendered his former life and willingly relinquished his talisman. This symbolic act signified a profound shift in his spiritual journey as he embraced the path of righteousness and renounced the darkness that had once consumed him. The talisman, a haunting reminder of his past, was consigned to the flames, forever vanquished by the radiant light of God’s grace.

The Aboakyer Festival, already known for its cultural splendour, became a profound testament to the transformative power of the gospel message. Lives were forever altered, souls were redeemed, and the town of Winneba basked in the glorious aftermath of a remarkable spiritual revival.

Madam Agnes Agyemang, a 55-year-old resident of Trado, a suburb community in the Akuajoo District within the Kwahu Traditional Area, has received instant healing from stroke syndrome.

Affectionately called “Auntie Akosua,” Madam Agyemang had been suffering from stroke for the past year, during which she went into a coma for a couple of months.

After the team prayed for her, Auntie Akosua rose to her feet and began walking about.  “I can walk, and I don’t feel any pain,” she exclaimed.

The next day, when the team visited her, Auntie Akosua was still reveling in the miracle that had taken place.

PIWC-Nkawkaw’s “Coconut Walk” Records 47 Souls

Members of the Pentecost International Worship Centre in Nkawkaw (PIWC-Nkawkaw) participated in a mountain-climbing exercise, dubbed: “The Coconut Walk,” to observe Holy Saturday.

The Coconut Walk was a lively event that featured music and enthusiastic participants who were determined to make it to the peak of the mountain.

Despite the lethargic pace of the walk, members of the Church marched on, holding placards with gospel messages hoping to reach out to as many revellers as possible.

They also distributed PIWC-Nkawkaw flyers inviting them to join the Church for Sunday service.

The walk ended at the Obomeng Methodist School Park, where the participants engaged in aerobics and other cardiovascular activities, accompanied by music. They were then treated to a breakfast and refreshing coconut.

The event was a resounding success, as 47 people surrendered their lives to Christ during the altar call led by the Resident Minister, Pastor Benjamin Asare. Eleven of the recorded souls underwent water baptism, an indication of the impact of the event.

The Coconut Walk was, indeed, a great opportunity for members of PIWC-Nkawkaw to spread the gospel and win souls while also promoting healthy living.

Kwahu for Christ” Film Outreach Records 20 Souls

Twenty residents of Aweregya in the Kwahu Traditional Area of Ghana responded to the call to receive Jesus Christ during a film evangelism exercise organised by the Evangelism Ministry of The Church of Pentecost at the Aweregya Community Park, yesterday.

The event, which was organised in collaboration with the Pra River District of the Church, is part of activities for the four-day Easter outreach in the Kwahu Traditional Area of Ghana.

Using a series of graphical footages, Elder Justice Kusi of the Evangelism Ministry Directorate shared the gospel message of Christ with residents of the community who had thronged the park.

He said that life on earth was too short and uncertain the reason why all must receive Christ, who offers life in abundance. Elder Kusi indicated that the world has nothing better to offer humanity except for tragedy, misery and misfortune.

He further explained that humankind is distinct from all other creations of God because they precious to Him. He said that the delicate nature of the birth process all point to the fact that God has high regard for them.

Elder Kusi, therefore, called on all who are yet to accept Christ to do so in order accomplish the purpose for which God created them.

He warned that every human being would one day account for their life on earth and, therefore, every individual must make the decision to either choose eternal life or eternal damnation.

Twenty of the onlookers responded to the altar call made by Elder Kusi, and were led to accept Christ by Elder Ebenezer Twum, Presiding Elder of the Aweregya Assembly.

The converts were each presented a Bible to aid their spiritual growth.
