Women’s Ministry Leadership Lauded For Massive Turnout At ABIDEDOES Conference

The General Secretary of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Samuel Gyau Obuobi, has commended the leadership of the Women’s Ministry for the superb organisation of the inaugural “ABIDEDOES Conference.”

The ongoing conference, drawing its name from prominent biblical figures – Abigail, Deborah, Dorcas, and Salomey – was specifically designed to empower women with the essential skills needed to excel in their respective fields.

Addressing  participants of the conference this morning, the General Secretary praised  the Women’s Ministry Director, Mrs. Philomina Mireku, and her dedicated team of national executives, for successfully mobilising over 3000 young women from all parts of the country to the Pentecost Convention Centre (PCC), Gimoa Fetteh.

The ABIDEDOES Conference emerged as a platform for equipping women with the knowledge and tools required to make a substantial impact within their areas of influence.

The deliberate choice of namesakes from the Bible underscores the significance of drawing inspiration from these exemplary women of faith.

In addition to Apostle Obuobi, who officially opened the conference today, other conference speakers Mrs. Mary Nyamekye (Wife of the Chairman), Mrs Juliana Korkor Obuobi (Wife of the General Secretary), Mrs. Deborah Agyemang Bekoe (Wife of the International Missions Director), Deaconess Mrs. Philomina Mireku (Women’s Ministry Director), Deaconess Mrs. Vivian Amfo (Deputy Women’s Ministry Director); Mrs. Mary Nana Aba Mensah (PIWC Atomic); Mrs. Abishag Asamoah Boakye; Elder Gabriel Aheto (CEO of Star Entrepreneurship), and many others.

The impact of this event is expected to ripple through the Church and the broader community, as empowered women continue to play a significant role in shaping a better future.
