A total of 73 souls were won at the ‘Ehi for Christ Crusade’ organised by the Aflao Area Evangelism Ministry of The Church of Pentecost in conjunction with Ehi District.
Thirty-four of the new converts have since been baptised in water.
The 4-day event which began on Wednesday, March 22, and ended on Saturday, March 25, 2023, was held under the chairmanship of the Aflao Area Head, Apostle Michael Agyen Brefo.
Diverse life-changing testimonies shared during the crusade awakened the love of God in the lives of the people.
Delivering the opening address on the main theme dubbed, “Jesus Christ, the Name Above all Names” (Acts 4:12, Philippians 2:9-12), Apostle Agyen Brefo, expounded on the effectiveness of the name of Jesus and the need for everyone to trust in him for hope and salvation.
“Jesus is the only accredited saviour of the world. There is no name that can save man from the shackles of sin and death except Jesus Christ,” he stated.
According to him, the purpose of the crusade was “to bring to light Jesus Christ, the greatest personality of human history, whose death and resurrection has saved those who put their trust in him.”
Pastors Godfred Tsatsu (Area Secretary), Pastor Samuel Dogbe (Area Evangelism Leader), and Pastor Joseph Gblornaku (Dodze District Minister) also ministered at the crusade. God through the various ministrations manifested his power at the crusade grounds.
The Ehi District Minister, Pastor Godwin Anthony Adzigbli, assured that aggressive follow-up strategies have been put in place to track and maintain all the souls won for effective discipleship.
