The Evangelism Ministry of The Church of Pentecost, in collaboration with the Schools Outreach Ministry of the Twifo Praso Area, has organised a Strategic Soul-Winning Seminar to equip members to intensify evangelism and discipleship across the Area.
The programme, spearheaded by the Area Head, Apostle Lawrence Otu-Nyarko, was organised at the zonal level for Presiding Elders, Gospel Heralds, Ministry Leaders, Home Cell Leaders and Bible Study Leaders.
The Twifo Praso Zone seminar was held on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at the Praso Asikafo Assembly auditorium.
Addressing participants, the Area Evangelism Ministry Leader, Pastor Frank Larbi, called on members to embrace the Church’s vision of winning 800,000 souls for Christ by the end of 2026.
He emphasised that soulwinning was the responsibility of every believer and urged participants to engage in strategic and intentional evangelism, not only to win souls but also to disciple new converts until they become committed disciples of Jesus Christ.
The participants were equipped with practical strategies for evangelising in schools, engaging people through personal evangelism, planting churches and retaining new converts by effectively “closing the back door.”
They were also encouraged to make effective use of the Church’s soulwinning resources, including Get Ready to Win Souls, One Minute Witness Booklet, The Four Spiritual Laws and The Assurance of Salvation Document.
Facilitators included Pastor Frank Larbi, Area Evangelism Ministry Leader; Elder Michael Amankwah, Assistant Area Evangelism Ministry Leader; and Elder Joseph Owusu Tieku, Assistant Area Schools Outreach Ministry Coordinator, among others.
As part of the programme, the Area launched the Schools Outreach Ministry’s Discipleship Manual Facilitator’s Guide, designed to support effective discipleship among students reached through school evangelism.
Also present were the Area Schools Outreach Ministry Coordinator, Probationary Overseer Eric Tandoh; Area Women’s Ministry Leader, Deaconess Agnes Donkoh; and other leaders and dignitaries.
The seminar formed part of efforts by the Twifo Praso Area to mobilise and equip members for more intentional soulwinning, discipleship and church growth.
