The Kwanwoma District in the Asokwa Area of The Church of Pentecost recently hosted a graduation ceremony at the Francis Okyere Temple, marking a significant milestone in the spiritual journey of 57 young members.
The event was graced by the Distirct Minister, Pastor George Owusu, who led the children in affirming their faith in the Lord and pledging to uphold the lessons learned in the teens’ classes.
The District Secretary, Elder Isaac Boadi, delivered an inspiring message, drawing from 2 Timothy 2:2-7, 2 Corinthians 2:1-6, and Isaiah 40:20. He encouraged the graduates to remain strong in the Lord, stressing that their journey into adolescence would be marked by challenges and temptations, but with Christ at the centre, they would overcome every obstacle.
Quoting Ephesians 6:10-11, Elder Boadi reminded the teens to rely on God’s strength and protection.
The young graduates were urged to spread the Gospel, endure hardships as good soldiers of Christ, and cultivate perseverance as they embark on this new phase of their Christian walk.
The graduation ceremony marked the official promotion of the 57 children into the Youth Ministry, signifying their transition from childhood to a new chapter of spiritual growth and responsibility.
The Kwanwoma District continues to nurture and equip its young people for service in the Lord’s vineyard.
Among those present were Elder Isaac Oppong (District Teens Coordinator/District Executive Committee member), Deaconess Veronica Addo (Central Assembly Sunday School teacher), Deaconess Deborah Ahenkorah (Former Women’s Ministry District Executive Committee member), and Madam Margaret Boateng (Sunday School teacher).
