A 55-year-old member of The Church of Pentecost in the Brofoyedru District of the Kwadaso Area, Mrs. Linda Ampofo, has given birth to triplets after 25 years of marriage, bringing glory to God.
A naming ceremony for the babies was held on July 5, 2026, at the Brofoyedru Central Assembly. The service was officiated by the District Minister, Pastor Joshua Appiah, and attended by family members and the congregation.
Mrs. Ampofo endured 25 years of childlessness, marked by several miscarriages, the last of which occurred in 2014. Despite the emotional and physical challenges, she remained steadfast in her faith and continued to serve God faithfully through active participation in church activities and prayer meetings.
Throughout the years, she drew strength and encouragement from the messages preached during the district’s weekly dawn prayer meeting, dubbed “Emergency,” choosing to trust God even when her miracle seemed delayed.
Her long-awaited breakthrough came after a hospital visit confirmed she was pregnant. By God’s grace, she safely delivered three healthy babies on January 13, 2026.
Preaching at the naming ceremony on the theme, “The Lord Has Done Great Things for Us,” based on Psalm 126:3 and Psalm 118:23, Pastor Joshua Appiah emphasised that the joy which follows seasons of trials, tears, and affliction strengthens the faith of believers and stands as a testimony to God’s unfailing faithfulness.
He encouraged the congregation to draw inspiration from Mrs. Ampofo’s testimony and to continue trusting God for transformation in every situation. He further urged believers to remain rooted in God’s Word, stressing that it is living, powerful, and able to strengthen them to overcome every trial.
Expressing his gratitude, Mrs. Linda Ampofo’s husband, Deacon Kwame Ampofo said the miraculous experience had deepened his faith and strengthened his commitment to serving God.
Also addressing the congregation, Elder Thomas Tuffuor, the Presiding Elder after whom the children were named, encouraged members to remain faithful and content in the Church, reminding them that God is still at work and that His timing is always perfect.
