The Sankor District Men’s Ministry of The Church of Pentecost has organized a cooking competition for all Presiding Elders in the District as part of the recently-held Men’s Ministry (PEMEM) Week Celebration.
Participants of the competition were drawn from Gethsemane, Emmanuel, James Mckeown, Effutu, Shakina and Holy Ghost assemblies.
Some of the local dishes prepared by the contestants include Kokonte and Groundnut Soup, Ampesi and Stew, Banku and Okro Stew, Mashed Plantain, Rice and Stew and Aprapransa.
It was a great spectacle to watch the Church leaders display their cooking skills to the admiration of members. Present at the event was the District Minister, Overseer Anderson Anner.
