The Sakumono District in the Teshie-Nungua Area of The Church of Pentecost has donated six tricycles, popularly called ‘Aboboyaa’ to six districts of the church.

The District Minister, Pastor Emmanuel Dominic Annor, who delivered the items, said he was touched by the 2020 Missions Week documentary he watched when some ministers in internal missions areas of the church requested for support to reach out to the unreached with the gospel.

“Since evangelism is the heartbeat of God and to achieve an effective spread of the good news, ministers of God need to be equipped to work, hence the gesture,” he said.

The six beneficiary districts are Amoma and Anyima districts in the Kintampo Area, Asasetre and Adubrin districts in the Axim Area, and Sawla Sindaa and Maluwe in the Sawla Area.

According to Pastor Annor, the Sakumono District has also decided to construct three boreholes for three communities, namely Gbongbondouri (Sawla Area), Adubrim (Axim) and Kabiti (Nkwanta Area) to provide potable water supply for the communities.

He indicated that the cost of the six tricycles and the three boreholes is estimated at GH¢ 78,000.00. He was of the hope that the gesture showed by the district will go a long way to assist the beneficiary communities.
