Elder Dr Eric Appau Asante, Chairman of the Area COVID-19 Team, on May 3, 2020, presented the items on behalf of the Area Head, Prophet James Osei Amaniampong.

The purpose of the donation was to resource the chiefs to be able to support their subjects hit by the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Presenting the items of behalf of the Area Head, Elder Dr Appau Asante said that the gesture was in line with the biblical principle of supporting traditional rulers and to pray with them to carry out their mandate.

He explained that the donation was to provide support for the good work that the chiefs are already doing in providing for the needy and vulnerable in society.

The recipients expressed their appreciation for the kind gesture and the thoughtfulness of the church.

The latest donation formed part of the series of donations the Asokwa Area has made to support individuals and institutions since the outbreak of the Coronavirus. Hospitals, needy members, and now the palaces have all benefitted from the generosity of the church.
