The Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC) Tema has supported 185 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates from Tema Community 7 No.1 and No.2 Basic Schools with learning materials and financial assistance to aid their preparation for the upcoming examinations.

The initiative, organised by the School Outreach Ministry in collaboration with the church leadership, forms part of the church’s ongoing commitment to supporting education and empowering young people within its catchment area. Each beneficiary received essential items, including mathematical sets, pens, rulers, and other supplies, alongside cash donations to support their examination readiness and ease financial pressure on families.

Addressing the students, Pastor Samuel K. Koomson delivered an exhortation on the theme, “Daniel Resolved,” drawing inspiration from the biblical example of Daniel’s commitment to excellence and faithfulness. He encouraged the candidates to remain disciplined, focused, and determined in their studies, urging them to pursue excellence and trust God for success in their examinations.

Prayers were also offered by members of the School Outreach Ministry, asking for divine wisdom, protection, and success for the candidates as they prepare to write their examinations.

The gesture was met with appreciation from students and school authorities, who commended the Church for its consistent support towards education and youth development.
