The Peki District in the Ho Area of The Church of Pentecost has organized a graduation ceremony for 29 teens who have graduated from the Children’s Ministry to the Youth Ministry.
The event took place on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at the Peki Central Assembly.
Officiating the ceremony, Pastor Isaac Joe Adusei (Retd.), advised the teens to shy away from Childish behavior and excel in their Youthful stage.
“From today, you have been moved from Children’s Ministry to Youth Ministry so do your things as those who have advanced in age,” he emphasized.
The District Minister for Peki, Pastor Cephas Akakpo commended the District Executive of the Children’s Ministry and all the Children’s Ministry workers in the District for the good work they are doing.
He encouraged the teens to be active participants in the Youth Ministry and other Church activities. He also offered a fervent prayer for the graduating teens.
The District Children’s Ministry Leader, Deaconess Edna Deku also admonished various Local Youth Leaders to keep their eyes on the teens so that the zeal in them will not wax cold, since they may grow to become Apostles, Prophets, Pastors and Officers of the Church in the near future.
Certificates and Parcels were presented to the graduating teens.
