Effiduase District Women’s Ministry Donates To Eastern Regional Hospital

The Koforidua Effiduase District Women’s Ministry in the Koforidua Effiduase Area of The Church of Pentecost has visited and donated items worth GH ¢3,500 to the Children’s Ward of the Eastern Regional Hospital, Koforidua.

This kind gesture was done as part of efforts aimed at giving back to society, serving the nation and influencing the community with godly principles and values,

The donation took place on Saturday, May 11, 2019, during the 2019 National Women’s week celebration. The items donated included; 10 metal chairs, 35 bedsheets, 120 toilet rolls, 15 tins of peak powdered milk, six gallons of liquid soap, bowls, cups, fruit juice, and biscuits, among others.

The Women’s Ministry visited the various wards to share the word of God and pray with the children and their parents.

Addressing the parents of these children, the District Pastor for Koforidua Effiduase, Pastor E. O. Agyapong, encouraged them to put their trust in God and believe that Jesus, the friend of children, is also a healer and the saviour of the world.

The items were presented by the District Women’s Leader, Deaconess Esther Nkrumah on behalf of the Ministry. The District Women’s Ministry Secretary, Deaconess Joyce Kwakyewaa Dankyi Sackey who assisted in the presentation, stated that it is the duty of the Church to assist the needy in society.

The items were received by Mr. Eric Ofori Asante, one of the Hospital Administrators.

He expressed his heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the Leaders of the Church, the Women’s Ministry and the entire Church for the kind gesture.

He assured the Church that the items would be used for the purpose for which they were presented.
