In a world where countless voices compete for attention, the Church is called to keep Jesus at the centre. Our lives, words, work, families, schools, communities and ministries should all point people to Him.
In Daniel 3:28–29, King Nebuchadnezzar witnessed the mighty deliverance of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. Their faithfulness in the face of persecution became a powerful testimony that led the king to acknowledge the power of their God. They did not merely speak about their faith; they demonstrated it through their commitment to God. Their lives made God known in a place where He was not honoured.
Similarly, Acts 8:4–8 tells us about believers who were scattered because of persecution. Rather than becoming silent, they went everywhere preaching the Word. Philip went to Samaria and proclaimed Christ, and his message was accompanied by transformed lives, deliverance, healing and great joy in the city.
These passages remind us that wherever God places us can become a platform for making Jesus known. We do not need to stand behind a pulpit to represent Him. We can reveal Christ through our character, integrity, compassion, excellence, service and willingness to share the Gospel.
Our workplaces need the testimony of Jesus. Our schools need His light. Our families need His love. Our communities need His hope. Even the digital world needs believers who will represent Christ faithfully.
The question is not only, “Do I know Jesus?” but also, “Can people see Jesus through my life?”
When Jesus is truly at the centre, our lives become living testimonies. Like the three Hebrew young men and the believers in Acts 8, we can influence our surroundings by standing faithfully for God and proclaiming His message.
Let us make every sphere a mission field and every opportunity a chance to make Jesus known.
Jesus does not belong only in the church building. He belongs at the centre of every sphere of life. Wherever we go, may our words, actions and testimony point people to Him.

May our generation see Jesus through us, hear about Jesus from us, and encounter His love because of us.
