Ho Area Women’s Ministry Holds Leadership Workshop

The Ho Area Women’s Ministry of The Church of Pentecost has held leadership training for all District and Local Women’s Ministry Leaders, Deaconesses and Wives of Officers in the Area.

The workshop was organised recently at the various zones in the Area, while the districts in the Ho Municipality met at Ho-Dome Central church auditorium.

The facilitators for the workshop were Mrs. Comfort Quampah (wife of the Ho Area Head who also doubles as a Member of the National Executive Committee of the Women’s Ministry), Mrs. Fidelia Ametepe (Ho Area Women’s Ministry Leader), and Mrs. Deborah Guessou (wife of SSNIT Flats District Minister and Executive Committee Member of the Area Women’s Ministry).

Speaking at the event on the topic, “Three Things That Make A Leader Successful,” Mrs. Comfort Quampah explained that skills, attitude and character are the key elements needed to have effective and successful leaders.

She stated: “The workshop is gradually being developed into a Bible School for the Women’s Ministry leadership to help develop the leadership skills of ministry executives and equip women in the church.

Mrs. Deborah Guessou also took the participants through “Leadership and Spiritual Sensitivity.” She asked leaders to serve in humility and show their followers the way to the Lord.

Mrs. Fidelia Ametepe, on her part, handled the topic, “Responsibilities of the Leader.”

She stressed the need for women to attend to the needs of their homes, husbands and children, as well as train and equip others in the fear of the Lord.
