No One Is Beyond Redemption – Apostle Kumi-Larbi Declares At Ashaiman Crusade

Day Two of the “Ashaiman for Christ Crusade” at Lazio Park in Zenu was filled with an atmosphere of worship and renewed hope as Apostle Alexander Nana Yaw Kumi-Larbi, the Ashaiman Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, delivered a compelling message on the theme: “Jesus Came to Seek and to Save the Lost.” His sermon centred on the transformative encounter with Jesus Christ and the restoration of true hope.

Apostle Kumi-Larbi drew his key text from Luke 15:11–24, which highlights the Parables of the Lost— the Parable of the Lost Sheep, the Parable of the Lost Coin, and the Parable of the Lost Son (often referred to as the Prodigal Son). He explained that the central message of all three parables is God’s unconditional love and the joy in heaven when even one sinner repents and returns to Him.

He challenged the people to reflect on where they had placed their hope, stressing that true hope begins with recognising who Jesus Christ is. When a person encounters this truth, salvation becomes not just a doctrine but a personal and life-changing experience.

Apostle Kumi-Larbi reminded listeners that humanity’s struggles were never part of God’s original design. Referring to the events in the Garden of Eden, he explained that sin entered the world when humanity strayed from God’s instruction. “It was not how God created us,” he emphasised. Sin, he noted, was the result of disobedience, and since then humanity has grappled with separation from its Creator.

He stated that Jesus Christ came specifically for those who feel tired, restless, and burdened by life’s challenges. Citing Luke 5 and Luke 19, he highlighted Jesus’ deliberate association with tax collectors such as Zacchaeus, who, in biblical times, were widely regarded as notorious sinners. He also recalled the parable of the lost sheep in Luke 15, where the shepherd left the ninety-nine to search for the one that was lost—a sheep that could easily have fallen prey to danger. In the same way, he said, humanity, held captive and led astray by the enemy, needed a Saviour.

Expounding further on the parables of the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the lost son, he explained that each story reveals the heart of a God who refuses to abandon His own. Like the prodigal son who came to his senses and returned home, anyone who reflects and turns back to God will be welcomed with open arms. He described God as a loving ‘mother’, eager to restore His children. The Bible, he added, affirms that when even one person is saved, all of heaven rejoices.

Addressing the crowd directly, Apostle Kumi-Larbi said they were not gathered because they had nothing else to do or simply to pass time. They had gathered to proclaim the Son of God who saves. He urged those who see themselves as the lost sheep—weak and unable to rescue themselves—to come to their senses and allow Jesus to intervene. An encounter with Christ, he said, moves a person from death to life.

The sermon took a deeply personal turn when the former General Secretary of the Church shared his own testimony.

At the age of fourteen, after enduring severe hardship, he had been declared close to death. However, during a visit to an all-night service, he heard a message on the theme: “If the Son makes you royal, you are royal indeed.” That moment marked a decisive turning point in his life. From then on, through every stage of his education and ministry, he said, God preserved him.

He recounted how his entire house was once destroyed by fire, yet from that tragedy emerged unexpected favour. He later received a fully funded scholarship that supported his studies abroad together with his wife and children. Through every trial and triumph, he affirmed, God had been his sustainer and destiny changer.

“The Saviour is here to save. Jesus Christ is the last stop,” he said, emphasising that when Christ forgives sin, He restores lost dignity and opens new doors. Reflecting on his own journey, Apostle Kumi-Larbi declared that he has never seen anyone come to Jesus and remain the same—shame is removed, identity is restored, and a new path begins.

TOSM, Sanneh Institute Deepen Partnership To Support Believers From Other Faiths

The National Executive Council (NEC) of The Other Sheep Ministry (TOSM) on January 16, 2026, paid a working visit to the Sanneh Institute at North Legon to strengthen collaboration aimed at Christian witnessing and the intentional support of believers from other faiths backgrounds.

The visit formed part of broader efforts to develop structured responses to the unique pastoral, discipleship, and integration needs of such believers, particularly within the West African context.

During the engagement, TOSM reaffirmed its commitment to defending the spiritual wellbeing and rights of Christians who were formerly affiliated with other faith traditions. The Ministry acknowledged its responsibility in this area, noting that some members of its national leadership are themselves believers from other faiths backgrounds and therefore bring personal experience and insight to the Ministry’s mission.

Discussions focused on building strategic networks that would allow ministers and church leaders from other faiths backgrounds to interact, share experiences, and identify practical needs.

Attention was given to how local churches can provide sustained pastoral care and guidance, especially for young believers navigating faith transitions. Participants also explored avenues for strengthening collaboration between ministries, institutions, and churches to enhance support systems.

A major outcome of the meeting was the proposal to develop a contextualised discipleship manual specifically designed for believers from other faiths backgrounds, with emphasis on the West African setting. The manual is expected to serve as a practical tool for grounding converts in Christian doctrine, identity, and spiritual maturity.

Apostle Dr Dieudonne Komla Nuekpe commended the initiative, stating that its objectives align with the foundational vision of TOSM. He highlighted the strategic importance of partnering with The Church of Pentecost, whose numerical strength and facilities offer wider reach and impact.

He further proposed expanding the initiative to include leadership development and suggested that it could evolve into an annual convention. He also encouraged long-term thinking that could incorporate broader civic engagement.

The visit ended with a proposal to organise a regional engagement in the second half of the year to further strengthen ministry efforts through collaboration and structured discipleship.

Present at the meeting were Prof John Azumah, CEO of the Sanneh Institute; Apostle Dr Dieudonne Komla Nuekpe, NEC Chairman of TOSM; Evangelist Abraham Addae Agyemang, National Coordinator of TOSM; Pastor Dr De-graft Issaka Suleman; and Pastor Mark Mohammed Alhassan.

52-Year-Old Traditional Priestess Finds Freedom In Christ

Dafliso Dzogbebabe, a 52-year-old traditional priestess from Akato in the Wudoaba District of The Church of Pentecost, Aflao Area, has renounced her former practices and handed over her three gods to be burnt. The event, which took place on Friday, January 9, 2026, marked a powerful turning point in her life.

Sister Dafliso gave her life to Christ after a house-to-house outreach by the District’s Evangelism Team during November’s Aggressive Evangelism, where Deaconess Gloria Kewu shared the message of Christ with her. The District counseling team counseled her to fully demonstrate her faith in Christ, by handing over her gods – Dzogbe, Maama, and Tokpo – to be destroyed.

She revealed she’d served these gods for 22 years, but the last eight had been filled with misery, leading her to seek true freedom in Christ. Pastor Albert Adotey Mensah, Wudoaba District Minister, baptised her, and she changed her name to Veronica Tovia, reflecting her new faith in Christ.

Christ Alone Has Power To Save, Transform Lives web

Christ Alone Has Power To Save, Transform Lives – Apostle Edzii Davidson

Apostle Samuel Edzii Davidson, Sefwi Wiawso Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, has proclaimed that salvation, transformation, and eternal life are found in Jesus Christ alone.

Preaching on the theme “We Have Seen Him, Christ the Saviour” from 1 John 4:14 at the ongoing “Tamale For Christ” crusade on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at the Jubilee Park, he stressed that the deepest need of humanity is a true Saviour, and that Jesus remains the only one qualified to redeem the world.

He affirmed that the Christian message stands on a firm testimony: the encounter with the Son of God, who is the Saviour of all.

Apostle Davidson explained that anyone who genuinely encounters Jesus experiences a complete change in destiny and lifestyle. He noted that Christ alone possesses the power to transform a person’s life in a way no human effort can achieve.

He said a life touched by Christ cannot remain the same because the Lord redirects destinies and brings individuals into alignment with God’s purpose. He emphasised that salvation through Christ rescues humanity from sin and eternal death.

To die without Christ, he noted, is to die in one’s sins, but to die in Christ is to enter eternity with forgiveness and hope. He therefore urged all gathered to accept Jesus as their Saviour, describing salvation as a gift freely offered to all who believe.

Speaking on transformation, he indicated that Jesus delivers individuals from ungodly and sinful lifestyles and releases their God-given potential.

According to him, a crooked life suppresses destiny, but an encounter with Christ empowers individuals to impact their generation in righteousness and godliness. On divine healing, he assured the congregation that Christ’s power extends to every form of sickness – whether congenital, hereditary, or long-standing – affirming that no infirmity is beyond the reach of Jesus’ healing touch.

Apostle Davidson highlighted the uniqueness of Christ’s resurrection as the foundation of the Christian faith, contrasting it with the graves of other religious leaders that still exist. He reminded the audience that the empty tomb is the eternal proof that Jesus is alive and continues to save and transform lives.

Concluding his message with 1 Peter 2:24, he declared that Christ bore humanity’s sins on the cross, giving Him the authority to forgive. He added that those who believe in Jesus receive power to live victoriously because the risen Lord imparts strength and new life to all who trust in Him.

Jesus Christ Alone Is The Accredited Saviour Of The World web

Jesus Christ Alone Is The Accredited Saviour Of The World – Apostle Appiah Declares

The Director of the Evangelism Ministry of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Emmanuel Kwesi Appiah, has urged believers to embrace the transforming reality of Jesus Christ as the Saviour of the world, stressing that a genuine encounter with Him brings total and lasting change.

He delivered this message on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the Jubilee Park in Tamale during the ongoing Tamale For ChristCrusade, preaching on the theme, ‘We Have Seen Him, Christ the Saviour’ from 1 John 4:14.

Apostle Appiah emphasised that Jesus Christ is the exact representation of God, who came in human form, died on the cross, and rose again in triumph. He stated that Christ alone carries God’s divine accreditation as the Saviour, saying, ‘Jesus Christ was in the nature of God, and when He died, death could not hold Him captive. He is the only One accredited by God as the Saviour of the world.’

Drawing from Acts 10:38, he explained that the presence of God is continually active in the world to bring good to humanity through Christ. He also touched on Matthew 11:11, highlighting the unique prophetic assignment of John the Baptist, whose testimony prepared the way for the revelation of the Messiah.

Apostle Appiah further referenced John 1:45–50, recounting the story of Nathanael, who initially doubted that anything good could come from Nazareth. He noted that just as Jesus saw Nathanael’s doubts and turned them into conviction, Christ still sees the struggles and questions of humanity today and has the power to transform every life. ‘Many great men have lived on this earth, but only Jesus Christ has been credited as the Saviour of the world. When you meet Him, your life will never remain the same,’ he affirmed.

He also drew attention to the Samaritan woman’s testimony in John 4:28, describing how a genuine encounter with Christ propels believers to share their experience with others. Quoting Psalm 103, he reminded the congregation of the manifold benefits from God –forgiveness, healing, restoration, and redemption from destruction.

Apostle Appiah stressed that faith and expectation play a vital role in experiencing the supernatural move of God. He noted that divine manifestation often occurs where believers approach God with expectant hearts. ‘Your expectation will always attract a divine demonstration. When you come to God with faith, He redeems your life from destruction and crowns you with His goodness,’ he added.

He concluded with a strong appeal for total surrender to Jesus Christ, affirming that He alone is the source of true life, healing, and eternal salvation.

Sakumono Area Fire Crusade Records 311 Souls For Christ web

Sakumono Area Fire Crusade Records 311 Souls For Christ

The Sakumono Area of The Church of Pentecost has recorded a remarkable harvest of 311 souls during a four-day “Fire Crusade” held from 18th to 22nd November 2025 under the theme, “Jesus Christ Shall Set You Free.”

The crusade, which drew multitudes from Community 20 and neighbouring communities, also saw 118 candidates baptised in water and 71 believers receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, marking a significant move of God among the people.

Speaking during the event, the General Secretary of the Church, Apostle Samuel Gyau Obuobi, expounded on the liberating mission of Christ as foretold by the prophet Isaiah. He noted that Jesus clearly outlined His earthly mandate when He proclaimed, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me…,” revealing His divine assignment to set captives free, open blinded eyes, and deliver the oppressed.

Apostle Obuobi described captivity as a condition where a person appears outwardly free yet remains spiritually bound. He explained that humanity fell into such bondage through sin, becoming subject to the power of Satan and death, with no ability to save itself.

He, however, emphasised that through His death and resurrection, Christ shattered the hold of sin, broke Satan’s authority, and opened the way to true and lasting freedom. He urged the congregation to recognise that many people still struggle internally despite seeming free, and affirmed that only Jesus has the power to liberate completely.

The Sakumono Area Head, Apostle Dr. Samuel Nana Yaw Agyei, also ministered during the crusade, calling on all present to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. Drawing from Isaiah 53:5, he reminded the gathering that Christ paid the full price for humanity’s peace.

He likened life to a journey from the womb to the tomb, marked by battles and uncertainties, yet assured the people that true peace can only be found in God.

Other speakers included the Evangelism Director, Pastor Emmanuel Appiah, and the Resident Minister of PIWC Sakumono, Apostle Seth Fianko-Larbi.

The event also featured ministrations by several gospel musicians, including Olivia Tornu, Emmanuel Arthur, Ohemaa Esther, Life Impact, and other renowned artistes.

As part of the outreach, a free health screening was organised on Saturday, November 22, supported by individuals and organisations, including Prince Mark Company Limited.

Special prayers were also offered for healing and for couples trusting God for the fruit of the womb, rounding off a crusade marked by spiritual renewal, divine encounters, and transformed lives.
