The Other Sheep Ministry (TOSM) on Saturday, February 21, 2026, collaborated with the Ashaiman Area of The Church of Pentecost to undertake a medical outreach during the Area Crusade held at Lazio Park in Ashaiman.

The outreach formed part of efforts to intentionally share the gospel with people of other faiths while meeting their health needs. The TOSM “Go Ye” Team, led by the National Coordinator, Evangelist Abraham Addae Agyemang, and his wife, Mrs. Georgina Addae Agyemang, joined forces with the Ashaiman Area TOSM Coordinator, Pastor Amofa Acheampong, and his team to engage beneficiaries with the message of salvation.

Through personal evangelism and prayer sessions held alongside the medical services, many individuals were ministered to and encouraged in their faith journey. By the grace of God, 28 souls surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ as Lord and Personal Saviour. Their details were duly recorded by the Area leadership to ensure effective follow-up and discipleship.

The leadership of the Ministry expressed appreciation to the Ashaiman Area Head, Apostle Alexander Kumi-Larbi, for his unwavering support and demonstrated commitment to the vision of the Other Sheep Ministry.

The outreach underscored the Church’s holistic approach to ministry – proclaiming the gospel while responding to the physical needs of the people – bringing glory to God.

The Fruit Of The Gospel Is A Changed Life – Apostle Samul Obuobi web

The Fruit Of The Gospel Is A Changed Life – Apostle Samul Obuobi

The General Secretary of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Samuel Gyau Obuobi, has emphasized that the ultimate evidence of the gospel is a transformed life, urging Christian students to reflect Christ through character, conduct, and convictions.

He made this assertion during an apostolic visit to Pentecost Students and Associates (PENSA) at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), where he preached on the theme “The Fruit of the Gospel,” drawing from Colossians 1:3–6.

Apostle Obuobi explained that the gospel, which proclaims the saving work of Jesus Christ, carries the power to change hearts, renew minds, and redirect lives toward righteousness. According to him, wherever the gospel is genuinely received and understood, it produces visible transformation, just as it did in the early Church.

He noted that salvation through the gospel brings believers into the Kingdom of God, but life in the Kingdom demands the pursuit and practice of Kingdom values, principles, virtues, and lifestyle. “The gospel is not only meant to be heard or preached; it must be lived,” he stressed, adding that a changed life remains the clearest testimony of a genuine encounter with Christ.

Addressing the students, Apostle Obuobi charged them to see the university campus as a strategic mission field, where their daily choices, academic integrity, and relationships should reflect the transforming power of the gospel. He cautioned that Christianity without transformation weakens the Church’s witness and limits its impact on society.

Also president at the service were Pastor Ebo Kwabena Quaye, Resident Minister of PENSA KNUST, hiw wife and Pastor Emmanuel Yerabi, Patron of PENSA KNUST and Resident Minister of PIWC Asokwa.

The visit concluded with prayers for the students to become agents of transformation, whose changed lives will advance the Kingdom of God and influence their generation for Christ.

General Secretary Urges Ministers To Preach With Power And Purpose web

General Secretary Urges Ministers To Preach With Power And Purpose

The General Secretary of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Samuel Gyau Obuobi, has called on ministers of the gospel to combine sound biblical preaching with the demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit in order to effectively transform society.

Delivering a word of exhortation at the 2026 Missions Board Meeting of the Church in Accra on the theme, “They Heard and Saw,” Apostle Obuobi emphasised that the Church’s mission to transform society must be carried out through two essential instruments—the preaching of the gospel and the manifestation of the Holy Spirit’s power.

According to him, society encompasses every sphere of life where Christians find themselves, and the Church must intentionally influence these spaces with kingdom values.

Drawing lessons from Acts 8:6-7, he noted that the persecution of the early Christians led to the spread of the gospel across nations, citing the ministry of Philip in Samaria as a model for effective ministry. He explained that Philip’s work demonstrated two essential pillars of ministry: the message people heard and the signs they saw.

Apostle Obuobi stressed that every minister must have a clear message from God, noting that ministry cannot thrive without a definite word from the Lord.

“Every minister must have a message; you must have something to say. I do not believe a minister should stand without a message,” he stated, adding that ministers must wait on the Lord in prayer and study in order to receive divine direction.

Referencing 2 Samuel 18:28-30, he explained that people naturally pay attention to ministers because of the message they carry and, therefore, ministers must be intentional about proclaiming God’s word faithfully.

He further urged ministers to support the preaching of the gospel with visible demonstrations of God’s power, noting that effective ministry requires both proclamation and action.

Quoting Acts 1:1, Apostle Obuobi highlighted that Jesus Christ “began both to do and to teach,” indicating that Christian ministry must reflect the same pattern.

He, therefore, encouraged ministers to preach the Word with conviction while allowing their ministries to be accompanied by signs and practical expressions of the gospel, so that people will both hear and see the transforming power of God.

Participants at the meeting include Apostle Emmanuel Agyemang Bekoe, Missions Director (MD); Coordinators of the Missions Regional Blocs; Elder Prof. Stephen Owusu Kwankye (Finance Board Chairman); Pastor Emmanuel Appah (Finance and Administration Director); and the Church’s Legal Representative.

The meeting began on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, and is expected to end on Thursday, February 26, 2026.

Ashaiman For Christ A Community Touched By The Spirit web.jpg

Ashaiman For Christ: A Community Touched By The Spirit

Residents of Ashaiman witnessed a remarkable move of God during the recent “Ashaiman for Christ” Crusade organised by The Church of Pentecost, Ashaiman Area. Held at Lazio Park, Zenu, under the theme, “Jesus Came to Seek and To Save the Lost” (Matthew 9:11–13; Luke 19:10), the four-day outreach left an indelible mark on the community.

Ashaiman, known for its vibrant markets and resilient people, experienced what many described as a fresh wave of revival. From the opening night, expectations were high as both church members and non-members gathered, some out of curiosity and others carrying deep personal burdens. What unfolded went beyond a routine evangelistic programme; it became a moment of genuine spiritual encounter.

Worship sessions were marked by heartfelt expressions of devotion, while prayer moments carried a solemn intensity. The preaching focused on the redemptive mission of Christ, presenting the gospel as a message of hope, forgiveness and transformation. As the altar call was made, many responded willingly, stepping forward to surrender their lives to Christ. Backsliders renewed their commitment, and several first-time converts publicly declared their faith.

The impact of the crusade was evident not only in visible responses but also in the atmosphere of conviction and humility that prevailed. Testimonies of healing, deliverance and restoration affirmed the undeniable work of the Holy Spirit. Lives were touched, burdens were lifted, and hope was rekindled.

As the programme concluded, a renewed sense of purpose lingered among participants. Beyond the large gatherings, the true impact continues in homes and personal spaces where new believers are growing in faith. The crusade served as a timely reminder that God’s Spirit is still at work, drawing souls to Christ and transforming communities through the power of the gospel.

Tithing And Sacrificial Giving Key To The Transformation Agenda web.jpg

Tithing And Sacrificial Giving Key To The Transformation Agenda – Apostle Dr Nuekpe

The La Area Head and Executive Member of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Dr Dieudonne Komla Nuekpe, has emphasised that the forebears of the Church, including Apostle James McKeown, Apostle Agyir Paintsil, Apostle Frederick Stephen Sarfo, Apostle Martinson Kwadwo Yeboah, and Apostle Dr Eric Nyamekye, among others, demonstrated exceptional sacrificial giving that greatly contributed to the Church’s growth and impact.

He made this remark during the climax of the Area Officers’ Retreat I, held on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC – French).

Delivering a presentation titled “Transforming the World Through Sacrificial Giving,” with scriptural references from Hebrews 11:7–9 and Genesis 3:5, Apostle Dr Nuekpe explained that biblical figures such as Noah, Abraham, and Moses offered themselves and their resources in obedience to God, thereby advancing His purposes.

Referencing Acts 4:32–37, he stated that God expects believers to willingly offer their possessions in support of His work. He noted that all of God’s creation, including the air, sun, moon, stars, trees, birds, and fish, gives continually for the sustenance and progress of humanity. All that you are and have belongs to God,” he stressed.

Apostle Dr Nuekpe stated that the Church thrives primarily through the tithes, offerings, and sacrificial giving of its members, emphasizing that these practices remain essential to the Church’s Possessing the Nations agenda. Jesus Christ, he added, set the highest example by giving Himself sacrificially for humanity.

Drawing from Luke 21:1–4, he highlighted Jesus’ commendation of the widow who gave all she had. He also cited the example of King David, who desired to build a temple for God, and the Macedonian believers who, despite their scarcity, gave generously to support God’s work.

He further narrated the story of a young man from the pagan town of Baal Shalishah who brought his gift to support Prophet Elisha during a famine, underscoring the lesson: “Learn to give both in season and out of season.”

Apostle Dr Nuekpe cautioned members against internet teachings that condemn tithing, urging them to uphold the biblical truth that the tithe is holy to God. He explained the various forms of tithes observed in Scripture, the Levitical tithe given to priests, the priestly tithe offered by priests themselves, and the charity tithe given every three years to support the needy.

He encouraged members to remain faithful in tithing in order to attract divine blessings and eternal rewards.

In his concluding remarks, he noted that tithing and sacrificial giving are not merely commands but privileges, God’s ordained channels for blessing His children.

In attendance were Mrs Juanita Nuekpe, District Pastor Daniel Nana Sei Mensah, and his wife.

Death Has No More Power Over the Believer — Apostle Obuobi declares web

Death Has No More Power Over the Believer — Apostle Obuobi declares

The General Secretary of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Samuel Gyau Obuobi, has declared that death no longer holds power over those who believe in Jesus Christ, stressing that Christ’s death and resurrection have permanently defeated humanity’s final enemy.

Preaching on the theme “Victory Over Death” at the Pentecost International Worship Centre (PIWC, Sakumono), Apostle Obuobi explained that death entered the world through sin and has since been a source of fear and sorrow for humanity. He described death as a tool used by the devil to enslave people through fear, noting that Scripture identifies death as the last enemy to be destroyed.

According to him, God’s solution to the problem of death was the incarnation of Jesus Christ. He explained that only by becoming human could Christ die, and only through His death could the power of death be broken. Citing Hebrews 2:14–15, he said Christ destroyed the devil, who held the power of death, and delivered believers from lifelong bondage to the fear of dying.

Apostle Obuobi further stated that death could not keep Jesus in its grip, as God raised Him from the dead, proving that death had lost its authority. He emphasised that Christ’s victory was achieved not for Himself alone, but for all who put their faith in Him.

He encouraged Christians to live with hope, reminding them that those who die in Christ will rise again at His return and receive glorified, imperishable bodies. The message, he noted, calls believers to face life—and death—with confidence, anchored in the assurance of eternal life through Jesus Christ, whom Scripture describes as the resurrection and the life.

Grace, Truth Came Through Jesus Christ WEB.jpg

Grace, Truth Came Through Jesus Christ — Apostle Nana Yaw Agyei Declares

Beneath the open sky at Lazio Park in Zenu, a deep sense of worship and expectation settled over the crowd as the Ashaiman Area of The Church of Pentecost continued its ‘Ashaiman for Christ Crusade.’

On the third evening of the four‑day gathering, Apostle Samuel Nana Yaw Agyei, Sakumono Area Head, mounted the platform to deliver the sermon and altar call with a tone that was both urgent and compassionate. His theme was unmistakable: Jesus came to seek and to save the lost.

He introduced his sermon with a striking assertion that whenever the gospel is proclaimed, heaven responds. When heaven opens, he said, liberty follows, and with liberty comes healing. The Spirit of God backs the gospel, and therefore the Spirit must be upon God’s people.

Preaching from John 1:17, “For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ,” Apostle Nana Yaw Agyei disclosed that through Moses came instruction, but through Jesus Christ came transformation.

He reminded his listeners that from creation to the present, God has always been seeking humanity. Quoting the opening chapter of the Gospel of John, he highlighted the continuity of God’s redemptive plan: “In the beginning was the Word.” The Word, he explained, is Jesus — and grace and truth came through the Word. He urged the crowd to receive this Word that brings true transformation, affirming that God has never abandoned humanity nor acted without purpose. Every situation, he said, lies within God’s knowledge and design.

Underscoring the uniqueness of Christ, Apostle Nana Yaw Agyei declared that while comparisons may exist in life, there is none comparable to Jesus. No one has prophesied like Him, performed miracles like Him, experienced a birth like His, ministered as He did, or died the way He died. And on the third day, He rose again. He proclaimed that same resurrected Christ was calling lost souls back to Himself. He asserted that no one loves like Jesus, and no one loves sinners as He does.

Drawing a vivid contrast between the law and grace, he explained that the law punishes, but grace transforms. The law leads to death, but grace brings eternal life. The law exposes sin, but grace brings truth and justification. Had humanity been left to the law alone, he noted, the burden would have been unbearable. But grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

The Sakumono Area Head further stressed that true satisfaction comes only from receiving Jesus. Without Him, a person may be physically alive yet spiritually dead.

During the altar call, he passionately invited those who felt lost to come forward with eagerness. He described the moment as a period of grace — a time when grace turns sinners into saints and lifts the sick to stand and testify. He prayed that everyone present would receive their portion of the blessings the Lord was releasing before they left the grounds.

Prophetic declarations of healing and spiritual impartation followed. He prayed that burdens and yokes would be broken at the hearing of the Word, and that the Spirit of the Lord would rest powerfully upon the people.

As the night continued at Lazio Park, one message rang out clearly once more: The law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
