Everything Humanity Needs Is Found in Salvation – Apostle Asa-Otu

The Sefwi Juaboso Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Shadrack Ohene Ohene Asa-Otu, has said that salvation through Jesus Christ provides the complete answer to humanity’s spiritual and earthly needs.

Speaking on the theme “The Importance of the Death of Jesus Christ,” at the second day of the “Sefwi Bekwai For Christ” crusade at the R/C School Park, he explained that the coming of Jesus to earth was a direct demonstration of God’s profound love for humanity.

Quoting the Gospel of John 4:42, Apostle Asa-Otu noted that the mission of Christ was rooted in God’s desire to rescue mankind from sin and spiritual death.

He also stressed that a person who lives on earth without surrendering to Christ is spiritually lifeless.

“If you live on earth and do not surrender to Jesus, it is like walking dead,” he said.

The Sefwi Juaboso Area Head further cautioned that nothing can be hidden from God, as He knows everything about humanity. He therefore urged believers not to be deceived by the world or by the schemes of the devil.

According to him, anyone who does not know Jesus Christ remains in spiritual darkness. Citing Gospel of John 3:23 and Epistle to the Ephesians 5:8, he explained that salvation is what brings people out of darkness into God’s marvellous light.

“The devil has no good thing to give humanity,” Apostle Asa-Otu said, adding; “Salvation is a full package. Your glory, peace, riches, and goodness are all in salvation.”

He warned that the most dreadful condition for any person is to live without Christ, stressing that life without Jesus ultimately leads to crises and burdens.

He also pointed to the Gospel of Matthew 11:28, highlighting that God grants rest to those who come to Him through salvation.

Touching on the simplicity of receiving salvation, Apostle Asa-Otu cited Epistle to the Romans 10:9–10, explaining that salvation becomes accessible when a person confesses and believes in Jesus Christ.

“What makes salvation wonderful is that it is not difficult to obtain. You simply have to declare and believe,” he said.

He concluded by encouraging all people to accept Christ, noting that anyone who comes to Jesus becomes wise and gains access to the fullness of life that God has prepared for humanity.

The Twifo Praso Area of The Church of Pentecost has strengthened its evangelism drive with the dedication of two tricycles to support gospel outreach in the Area. The vehicles were dedicated during a brief ceremony held on January 31, 2026, at the Asikafo Assembly premises.

The initiative forms part of the Area’s efforts to enhance evangelistic activities and extend the reach of the gospel to remote and hard-to-access communities within the Area. The tricycles are expected to assist the Evangelism Ministry and outreach teams in travelling to villages and communities that are difficult to access by conventional means, thereby facilitating effective gospel proclamation and community engagement.

The acquisition also aligns with the church’s 2026 theme, which focuses on unleashing the church to transform society with the Gospel and the power of the Holy Spirit. By strengthening logistical support for evangelism, the Area seeks to intensify efforts at reaching the unreached and advancing the church’s mandate of possessing the nations.

Twifo Praso Hosts Transformational Twifo For Christ Gospel Crusade

The Twifo For Christ Gospel and Power Crusade brought a remarkable wave of spiritual renewal to Twifo Praso and its surrounding communities as thousands gathered at the A&D School Park for five days of intensive evangelism, prayer, and worship.

The event, which attracted more than 6,000 people from diverse backgrounds, became a powerful platform through which many encountered the saving grace and power of Jesus Christ.

Held from February 17–21, 2026, the crusade was organised by the Twifo Praso Area of The Church of Pentecost under the leadership of Apostle Lawrence Otu-Nyarko and his wife, Mrs. Doris Otu-Nyarko. Dubbed “Twifo for Christ Gospel and Power Crusade,” the outreach aligned with the church’s 2026 theme aimed at unleashing the entire church to transform society with the gospel and the power of the Holy Spirit.

The crusade ran with the theme, “Jesus Christ, Saviour of the World” (John 4:42), featuring morning and evening sessions marked by fervent prayer, vibrant praise and worship, and life-transforming messages.

The opening night was ministered by Apostle Dr. Amos Jimmy Markin, Executive Council Member of The Church of Pentecost, RCC Coordinator for the Central Region and Cape Coast Area Head. Preaching on the hope found in Christ, he explained that humanity, though lost in sin, has been given a remedy through Jesus Christ. Emphasising that salvation can only be found in the name of Jesus, he called on the crowd to embrace the gift of redemption.

On the second and third nights, Apostle Lawrence Otu-Nyarko expounded on the crusade theme, highlighting Christ as the only Saviour who restores the broken and grants abundant life.

He noted that although the enemy seeks to destroy destinies, the love of Christ brings restoration and hope to humanity. His messages stirred many hearts and led numerous people to surrender their lives to Christ.

Friday’s session featured Elder Dr. Nana Samuel Amoh Tobin, Chief Executive Officer of the Tobinco Group of Companies, who spoke on the enduring love of God.

He noted that salvation through Christ brings not only eternal life but also divine protection, mercy, and peace in daily living. His message drew many to the altar in response to the call of God’s relentless love.

On the final night, Elder Dr. Bismark Amoah of Bohye Prayer Centre delivered a message on the benefits of Christ as the Saviour of the world, emphasising that salvation in Jesus brings healing, deliverance, and restoration to all who believe.

Only The Blood Of Jesus Forgives Sin – Elder Edzekumhene web

Only The Blood Of Jesus Forgives Sin – Elder Edzekumhene

The Deputy Director of the Evangelism Ministry of The Church of Pentecost, Elder Ismael Edzekumhene, has asserted that the redemptive sacrifice of Jesus Christ remains the sole foundation for the forgiveness of sins.

Elder Edzekumhene made this declaration on March 12, 2026, during the “Sefwi Bekwai for Christ Crusade,” held at the R/C School Park at Sefwi Bekwai in the Western North Region. He spoke on the theme, “Jesus Christ, the Accredited Saviour of the World.”

According to him, Jesus Christ is not merely one among many saviours but the sole accredited Saviour of the world, emphasising that no human being who has ever lived can legitimately claim the power to save the world.

“Jesus came to save the world, and He is still saving the world today,” he stated, adding that the same Christ who came to redeem humanity will one day return as judge.

He stressed that acknowledging Christ as the only Saviour must go beyond mere celebration, urging believers to actively proclaim this truth to others.

Explaining the basis of salvation, the deputy evangelism director referenced Hebrews 9:22, which teaches that nearly everything is cleansed by blood and that without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins. He noted that since salvation involves the forgiveness of sins, it was necessary for someone to shed blood on behalf of humanity.

“If salvation is about forgiving sins, then it is impossible for sins to be forgiven unless blood is shed,” he explained, adding, “No one can save humanity unless that person is prepared to shed his blood.”

He, therefore, pointed out that because Jesus Christ shed His blood for humanity, God has given Him an accredited name above every other name by which people must be saved.

Citing Revelation 5:9, he emphasised that Jesus alone paid the redemptive price for humanity, making Him the only legitimate source of salvation.

To illustrate his point, Elder Edzekumhene compared salvation outside Christ to obtaining a certificate from an unaccredited university.

“If you attempt to obtain salvation without Christ, it will be like receiving a certificate from an unaccredited university,” he said, stressing, “Such a certificate will not be recognised because the institution itself is not accredited.”

He further explained that Jesus Christ is the only person through whom humanity can have a genuine relationship with God.

Elder Edzekumhene further stated that since Jesus paid the ultimate price for humanity’s redemption, He has every right to judge those who reject Him.

Quoting Acts of the Apostles 24:25, he warned against postponing the decision to accept Christ, saying, “There is no convenient time to accept Jesus.”

The “Sefwi Bekwai For Christ Crusade” is expected to end on March 14, 2026, with a free medical screening exercise and a special service for children.

Your Workplace Is a Mission Field – Pastor Osei-Appau web

Your Workplace Is a Mission Field – Pastor Osei-Appau

The Area Secretary of the Ashaiman Area of The Church of Pentecost, Pastor Gideon Osei-Appau, has urged Christians to regard their workplaces as mission fields where they can demonstrate the values of God’s Kingdom and influence society for Christ.

He made the call during the opening session of the 2026 Annual Leadership Retreat of the Ashaiman Area Women’s Ministry, where he delivered a message on the theme, “My Job, My Kingdom Assignment.” Drawing inspiration from 1 Corinthians 4:1–2, he explained that every believer is a steward entrusted with responsibilities by God and must therefore remain faithful in every aspect of life, including their profession.

According to Pastor Osei-Appau, many Christians often limit their faith to church activities, forgetting that the greater part of their lives is spent at work and in the marketplace. He therefore encouraged participants to see their professions as platforms through which God can reach others and transform society.

“Whether one is a nurse, teacher, doctor, carpenter, trader, or artisan, the workplace provides daily opportunities to reflect the values of the Kingdom of God,” he noted.

He emphasised that believers must demonstrate honesty, diligence, respect, and excellence in their professional duties, stressing that the God Christians serve is a God of excellence and expects the same from His people. He also urged participants to honour commitments, respect time, and carry out their responsibilities with integrity.

Quoting the reformer Martin Luther, who observed that the whole world could be filled with the service of God and not just the church, Pastor Osei-Appau reminded the participants that professions such as nursing, teaching, carpentry, and trading are also callings through which God can reach souls.

Touching on the importance of hard work, he referenced 2 Thessalonians 3:10–11, which cautions against idleness, and encouraged believers to be productive and dependable in their workplaces.

Addressing the issue of corruption in society, Pastor Osei-Appau noted that although many Ghanaians identify as Christians, corruption remains widespread. He therefore urged believers to live as the “salt of the earth,” demonstrating integrity and righteousness in their daily work.

The message set the tone for the retreat, inspiring participants to see their professions not merely as means of livelihood but as sacred opportunities to serve God and positively impact society.

Dawhenya District Supports 71 Members with Business Seed Capital

The Dawhenya District of the The Church of Pentecost in the Tema Area has empowered seventy-one members with a total seed capital of GHS 93,701.00 to support and strengthen their small trading ventures.

The initiative, funded through the District’s 2025 District Week III programme, forms part of the Church’s Vision 2028 agenda and reflects a deliberate commitment to holistic ministry that integrates spiritual growth with economic empowerment.

The intervention was designed to move beyond financial assistance by serving as a strategic investment in the productive capacity and dignity of members. District leadership emphasised that the objective was to help beneficiaries launch, stabilise and expand viable business ventures, thereby promoting sustainable livelihoods and community impact. The programme reflects the District’s conviction that Christian ministry must address both spiritual and socio-economic needs of members.

Under the leadership of District Pastor Ps. Bright Amankwah, the Dawhenya District has consistently pursued a balanced approach to discipleship that promotes spiritual maturity alongside economic responsibility. The District reiterated its commitment to raising members who are spiritually grounded while remaining economically resilient and socially relevant.

To ensure transparency and responsible stewardship of church resources, an interview and vetting process was instituted to assess applicants. The selection of the first batch of 71 beneficiaries was based on clearly defined criteria, including genuine need, feasibility of proposed business ideas and demonstrated commitment to stewardship principles. This structured approach reflected the District’s determination to manage resources prudently while maximising kingdom and community impact.

In addition to the financial support, a one-day empowerment and capacity-building training programme was organised for beneficiaries. Participants were equipped with essential knowledge in basic business management, financial discipline and sustainability practices. The training aimed at ensuring that the seed capital would be effectively utilised and multiplied for long-term benefit.

The District expressed confidence that the initiative will contribute to improved household income levels, strengthen local economic activity and reduce financial dependency while supporting kingdom advancement and community development.

The Gospel The Most Important Message Of The Christian Faith web

Gospel Is Greatest Legacy For Future Generations – Pastor Tetteh Declares

The greatest and most enduring legacy believers can pass on to future generations is the gospel of Jesus Christ, according to Pastor Frederick Tetteh of the The Church of Pentecost. He made this assertion during the Sogakope District Gospel Sunday Celebration held on February 22, 2026, at the Sogakope District English Assembly Auditorium.

Preaching on the theme, “The Power of the Gospel in Transforming Lives and Society,” Pastor Tetteh grounded his message on several scripture passages, including Romans 1:16, 2 Corinthians 5:17 and Titus 2:3–5. He explained that the life and ministry of Jesus Christ—from His birth through His earthly ministry, death and resurrection—constitute the gospel message, a divine power capable of transforming both individuals and society.

Using a practical analogy, Pastor Tetteh described the gospel as humanity’s ultimate operational manual. He noted that just as machines require manuals to function effectively and be repaired when necessary, human life is best guided by the principles of the gospel. He stressed that the message of Christ remains effective because it is empowered by God Himself.

The District Pastor encouraged members to remain committed to evangelistic work, stating that the gospel is the only spiritual instrument with the power to break chains, deliver the oppressed and bring lasting transformation to society. He affirmed that God continues to confirm the preaching of the gospel through signs and wonders accompanying faithful proclamation.

Referencing Acts 9:1, he warned believers to remain spiritually alert, explaining that the enemy constantly seeks opportunities to oppose the work of God. He therefore urged members to adopt strategic and persistent approaches in sharing the gospel. Drawing lessons from Galatians 1:23–24 and Luke 19:1–10, he highlighted the transforming power of a genuine encounter with Christ, citing the lives of Zacchaeus and Apostle Paul as examples.

Concluding his message, Pastor Tetteh charged members to uphold integrity in their Christian witness and to live consistently with the message they proclaim. He cautioned against hypocrisy, urging believers to ensure that their words and actions reflect the truth of the gospel as they seek to influence the world for Christ.

Sefwi Wiawso Area Head Pays Courtesy Call On Akontombra Chief

In line with the 2026 theme of The Church of Pentecost, “The Church Unleashed to Transform Society Through the Gospel and the Power of the Holy Spirit,” the Sefwi Wiawso Area Head, Apostle Samuel Edzii Davidson, together with his wife, Mrs. Winnifred Davidson, on February 27, 2026, paid a courtesy call on the Divisional Chief of Akontombra, Nana Kwabena Ebie II.

The visit, which took place at the Akontombra Palace, formed part of activities marking the 72-Hour Kohinta Healing and Revival Service held in the Akontombra Zone. The Area Head was accompanied by Pastor Collins Sunday (District Pastor, Akontombra District), Overseer Prince Ofori (District Minister, Essase District), Probationary Overseer Samuel Nkansa Appiah (Secretary to the Area Ministry to the Chieftaincy Committee and District Minister, Aburonehia District), and a delegation of elders.

Welcoming the delegation, Nana Kwabena Ebie II expressed heartfelt appreciation for the honour done him and his traditional council. He noted that chieftaincy institutions are sometimes misunderstood and distanced from Christian worship due to misconceptions associated with traditional authority. He, however, openly affirmed his membership of the Church and expressed pride in the recognition the Church accords the chieftaincy institution through targeted programmes and engagements.

The Chief emphasised that kingship continues to play a vital role in God’s divine agenda, referencing biblical examples where kings and priests were instrumental in advancing God’s purposes. He commended the Church for its strategic and intentional collaboration with traditional authorities toward societal transformation.

Responding, Apostle Davidson thanked the Chief and his elders for the warm reception and reiterated that the Church recognises the indispensable role of traditional leaders in advancing God’s Kingdom on earth. He stressed that God desires to use royals as agents of transformation within their communities. Sharing a testimony from a previous station, he recounted how intentional ministry to a palace led to the conversion of a chief, resulting in spiritual renewal and positive socio-economic impact in the community.

The visit concluded with prayer for the Chief and his elders, reaffirming the Church’s commitment to deepening engagement with the chieftaincy institution for holistic transformation.
