The new Techiman Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Isaac Nii Kotei Djani, has held his maiden meeting with the Area Presbytery to interact with them.

The programme, which took place on Friday, December 11, 2020, at Dwomor Central Assembly Auditorium, was attended by about 1,117 officers.

Addressing the officers, Apostle Kotei Djani thanked them for their response to his call and asked for God’s blessings upon their lives. Preaching on the topic, “The Pattern and the Glory,” taking his text from Exodus 25:1-2, 8-9; 39, he explained that ministry is a calling and it behoves those called to rely on God for fruitful ministry.

“Every leader must have a message for his people and he or she will get that message only if he or she relies on, and trust in God. Until you connect to God, you cannot hear Him even if He speaks to you,” he said.

He added: “Since God is a God of orderliness, He has His pattern and the leader must see to it that he works according to the pattern he has received from God.”

He charged the presbytery to obey the Holy Spirit and the leadership of the church by working according to the policies of the church, saying, “Just as the Israelites obeyed God through the voice of Moses, we must do same through obedience to the leadership of the church and the glory of God will be upon us.”

The meeting was preceded by a three-day residential retreat with ministers and their wives in the Area from Wednesday, 9th to Friday, 11th December at PIWC-Techiman auditorium. It was under the theme, “A Glorious Church Revived to Possess the Nations” (Ephesians 3:21; 5:27). The retreat involved teachings, prayers, and workshops.

The workshop sessions were based on how to improve weekdays activities, gospel Sundays, ministries’ activities, and impacting society through vision 2023.
