Couple Blessed With A Child After Seven Years Of Marriage

Elder Hayford Zegu and his wife, Dora of the Greda Estate District in the Teshie-Nungua Area of The Church of Pentecost have been blessed with a baby boy after seven years of marriage.

The couple who got married in 2012 tried all means (both orthodox and herbal medicines) to have a child but to no avail. However, the church never ceased praying for them for divine intervention.

During one of the District’s Friday morning prayers dubbed “Touching the Throne of Grace,” the District Minister, Pastor William Amponsah Asiamah, assured the couple that God would surely intervene in their situation and that he would name their first child before he leaves the district.

“Through the prayers from the pastor, officers and members, the Lord opened the heavens to us and my wife conceived,” the excited Elder Zegu told PENTECOST NEWS.

Speaking at the dedication of the newborn child at Patrick Asiamah Memorial Temple on July 13, 2019, Elder Samuel Asiedu advised parents to be good examples for their children.

Quoting from Proverbs 22:6, he admonished parents to take good care of their children and train them in the way of the Lord just as Lois and Eunice did to their son and grandson Timothy (2 Timothy 1:5).

In attendance were the district pastor, officers, members, family members and loved ones of the couple.
