The 2026 BIA Unleashed for Christ Crusade, organised by the Essam Debiso Area of The Church of Pentecost, in collaboration with the Tobinco Group of Companies, has recorded 1,733 souls won to Christ during a five-day evangelistic campaign.

The crusade, held from Tuesday, September 15, to Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Sakora Park and the Debiso Central Auditorium, also recorded 613 water baptisms, 213 baptisms in the Holy Spirit and 125 rededications to Christ.

The harvest comprised 1,313 adults and 420 children, underscoring the broad reach of the evangelistic campaign across the BIA enclave.

Members from all 22 districts of the Essam Debiso Area participated in the crusade, alongside residents and invited guests from surrounding communities. Cumulative attendance over the five days stood at 23,493, comprising 7,265 males, 10,159 females and 6,069 children.

Attendance peaked at 8,832 worshippers on Friday, September 18, making it the largest single gathering recorded during the crusade.

The programme featured evening evangelistic meetings at Sakora Park, complemented by morning teaching and prayer sessions at the Debiso Central Auditorium.

Apostle Daniel Frimpong-Manso, Apostle Samuel Edzii Davidson and Elder Albert Narh served as guest speakers, while Pastor Emmanuel Kyei Boate, Deaconess Lizzy Rockson and the Area Mass Choir led worship and musical ministrations.

The crusade also recorded 105 cases of healing and miracles, with testimonies of healing and deliverance shared during the morning and evening sessions. One of the notable outcomes was the establishment of a new assembly at Amoakrom.

The evangelistic effort extended beyond the main crusade grounds. National and Local Gospel Heralds were deployed across 19 districts before and during the programme, leading 1,224 people to Christ.

The Christian Youth and Students Network (CYSN) from Accra also undertook a week-long evangelism campaign in the New Papase, Amoakrom and Kaase districts, resulting in 328 souls won. The group further supported the Amoakrom community through the drilling of a borehole.

A Sports Outreach held on Saturday, September 11, also recorded 13 souls won among the youth, while a Medical Outreach on the closing Saturday provided free healthcare screening and treatment to 430 people.

The medical exercise further resulted in 208 National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) registrations, comprising 62 new registrations and 146 renewals.

The Children’s Service, held on Saturday, September 19, at Debiso Central, recorded an attendance of 313, comprising 284 children and 29 adults. Ten children received the baptism of the Holy Spirit during the service.

The Area Head, Apostle Frank Awuah Fordjour, and his wife, Mrs Ruth Awuah Fordjour, were commended for their leadership of the initiative, alongside the Area Pastorate, the Central Committee chaired by Pastor Peter Amuzu-Avorde and the 19 sub-committees that supported the organisation of the crusade.

The Area also expressed appreciation to the General Secretary of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Samuel Gyau Obuobi; Finance and Administrative Director, Pastor Emmanuel Appah; and the individuals, institutions and partners who supported the crusade financially and logistically.

Among those acknowledged were Elder Dr Samuel Amo Tobin, Elder Albert Narh, the National Women’s Ministry Directorate, Elder Daniel Ntiamoah, Elder Eric Addae and Mrs Asantewaa.
