Youth Director Joins Laterbiokorshie Zone Easter Convention

The Youth Director of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle David Nyansah Hayfron, on Thursday, April 18th, 2019, joined the Lartebiokorshie Zone of the Dansoman Area during this year’s Easter Convention.

The Youth Ministry spearheaded activities of the day in an enthusiastic, joyful and colourful atmosphere at the newly constructed Lord’s Wembley Stadium, Shukura. The convention is on the theme, “Tetelestai” (It Is Finished) taken from John 19:30.

Leading a prayer session after a sermon delivered by Elder Frank Ayisi, Bethel District Youth Leader, Apostle Nyansah Hayfron charged all who labour and are heavily burdened to come to Jesus Christ since He is the only one who provides rest to the soul.

He indicated that, Jesus Christ is the one and only Saviour and the stream of living water in whom flows the fountain of life that gives everlasting life, peace and rest. He called on all and sundry to come to Jesus Christ, the source of the living water.

He added that, when Jesus, the light of the world, is welcomed into the heart of humanity, He does not only cast away all burdens and heals, but also clears any form of spiritual debris. Christ also deposit His spiritual gifts into the believer thereby causing an instantaneous revival and transformation.

During the prayer session, many believers were empowered for service, while others received healing and deliverance.

The opening session saw 14 people giving their lives to Christ. They were taken through teachings and baptized the same night.

The Youth Ministry on morning sessions meet at the Bethel Central auditorium, while parents and their children also converge at the Lartebiokorshie Central assembly. Russia Worship Centre serves as the meeting point for prayers dubbed ‘Power House.’

The Zonal Chairman, Pastor George Yaw Asiedu, who also doubles as the Lartebiokorshie District Minister, commended the Youth Ministry for their zeal and urged all other ministries to gear up for their sessions.
