Pastor & Mrs. Turkson Donate To BECE Candidates

The Nkwanta District Minister of The Church of Pentecost, Pastor Emmanuel Turkson, and his wife, Linda, have donated mathematical sets to final-year students of the Nkwanta cluster of schools who are sitting for this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

The couple donated 24 mathematical sets and pens to Tanoso Junior High School, whilst Afamu Junior High School were presented with 30 maths sets and pens. The Pataboso Junior High School also received 30 maths sets and 40 pens.

In all, the couple donated 84 maths sets and 94 pens to the students.

Pastor Turkson presented the items to the students on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at their respective schools. He also prayed with the BECE candidates and wished them well in their examinations.

The Nkwanta District Minister was accompanied by Pastor Frank Adjei and Elder Albert Narh, representatives of the Evangelism Ministry of The Church of Pentecost who are being hosted by the Nkwanta District ahead of the much-anticipated “Sefwi-Nkwanta for Christ” crusade, were also present at the short presentation.

The four-day crusade, which is under the theme “In Him Is Life” (John 1:4), is set to kickstart this evening (October 18, 2022) at the Tanoso community park.
