The Women’s Ministry Director of The Church of Pentecost, Deaconess Philomina Mireku, joined women of the Ashaiman Area for a “Street Gospel Evangelism” exercise last Sunday.

The event was organised in partnership with the Area’s “Jesus Is Coming” Evangelism Team at the forecourt of Franko Trading Enterprise, located at the Ashaiman Main Station.

As part of the exercise, the women evangelised to night workers in the Ashaiman market and also visited some slums (ghettos) to share the gospel message of Jesus Christ with the residents.

Fifty-two people surrendered their lives to Christ during the exercise. Thirteen of the new converts underwent water baptism on the same day and 15 others received Holy Spirit baptism.

Pastor Dickson Boahen (Estate District), Pastor Stephen Bonzoe (Chapel Square District), Pastor Samuel Ofori Gyimah (Home and Urban Mission Pastor, Ashaiman Sector) and Deaconess Evelyn Asare (Area Women’s Ministry Leader) took part in the exercise.
