The Other Sheep Ministry (TOSM) of the Community 25 Estate District of The Church of Pentecost has donated assorted packs of bottled water and soft drinks to the Muslim community at Tema Community 25, near Devtraco Courts in commemoration of the 2026 Eid al-Adha celebrations.
The presentation, which took place on Monday, May 25, 2026, formed part of the church’s efforts to demonstrate love, peaceful coexistence, and support for the Muslim community during the festive period.
Presenting the items on behalf of TOSM, the Community 25 Estate District Minister, Pastor Ernest Perbi-Asare, explained that the gesture was the church’s contribution towards the successful observance of Eid al-Adha, which was held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
He noted that the donation reflected The Church of Pentecost’s commitment to promoting unity, mutual respect, and good neighbourliness among people of different faiths within the community.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Muslim community, the Chief Imam, Gausu Abdul Rahman, expressed appreciation to the church for the timely support. He commended The Church of Pentecost for its continued demonstration of kindness and religious tolerance, describing the gesture as a symbol of peaceful coexistence and community partnership.
The brief presentation ceremony was attended by Elder Joseph Edward Nketsiah, District Finance Chairman; Deaconess Rosemary Ackon, District Assistant Women’s Leader; and Miss Genevieve Addi, a TOSM Executive Member.
The Other Sheep Ministry is one of the outreach ministries of The Church of Pentecost dedicated to reaching out to people of other faiths through love, service, and intentional relationship-building.
