The Tongor Lakeside District Mission House of The Church of Pentecost has been dedicated to the glory of God.
The facility was dedicated by Apostle Dr. Dela Quampah (Ho Area Head and Executive Council Member), with assistance from Pastor Emmanuel Arthur of Dzemeni District.
The ceremony took place on Sunday, September 25, 2022, during the inauguration of the District which was created out of the Dzemeni District in September this year.
The sod-cutting for the four-bedroom apartment was performed by Apostle Dr. Quampah in March this year and has been completed within six months.
The project, which cost GH₵325,654, was funded through a GH₵ 290,000.00 grant from the General Headquarters, as well as financial contributions from the Area and District.
Preaching the sermon on the topic, “You are God’s New Strategy to Possess the Nations” with Isaiah 43:19-21 as his main Bible reference, the District Minister for Kpeve District, Pastor Philip Tamakloe, said that the opening of the new district signifies that God is doing a new thing in the church and that He is using the members to accomplish it.
Pastor Tamakloe reminded members of the church of the great work that God has done in the district over the years, likening it to the promise of God to the Israelites to make a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland. He noted that nothing is difficult for God to accomplish and so all Christians should have faith in God who has the power to change their story.
Apostle Dr. Dela Quampah, on his part, challenged members of the new district to work hard to support the work of the ministry with all the resources God has blessed them with.
In attendance were Mrs Comfort Quampah (Wife of the Area Head), the entire Ho Area pastorate and members of the district.
