A special service was held last Sunday at the Tishigu Central Assembly auditorium to formally welcome the new Head of the Tamale Area, Apostle John Budu Kobina Tawiah, and his family to the Area.
The service, officiated by Apostle James Gabriel Quardson, the Sunyani Area Head, and assisted by Pastor Eric Gyacham, the Bawku Area Head, had in attendance ministers, wives from the Kwadaso and Tamale Areas, as well as officers and members.
Apostle J.B.K. Tawiah was joined at the service by his wife, Mrs. Agartha Tawiah, and their four daughters: Dorcas, Alberta, Hilary, and Josephine.
The new Tamale Area Head, who was formerly the Area Head of the Church in Kwadaso, has taken over from Apostle Sylvester Arhin, who has been assigned to Takoradi as Area Head.
He also takes over as the Coordinator of the Northern Regional Coordinating Committee (NRCC) and the Chairman of the Northern Regional chapter of the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council (GPCC).
Speaking on the topic, “Beholding the Supernatural as You See What God Is Doing,” with scriptural references from Matthew 11:7-10 and Isaiah 43:18-19, Apostle James Gabriel Quardson urged the Church members to discern the new thing the Lord is doing in the Tamale Area and align accordingly for maximum impact.
He called on the Church to have the eyes to see and make appropriate adjustments in readiness for the impending transformation the Lord is bringing into the Area.
According to him, when they behold rightly, their minds will be renewed, adding that the woman with the issue of blood and the centurion received their miracles because they drew closer to Christ to behold Him.
In response to the warm reception accorded him and his family, Apostle J.B.K Tawiah assured the ministers, officers, and members in the Tamale Area of his readiness to flow with the new thing the Lord was about to do in the Area and called on everyone to support him to make maximum impact.
Apostle J.B.K Tawiah brings with him years of ministry experience, having served in three other stations including being a missionary to Cameroon.
