Mamprobi PEMEM Honours Elder Kaakyire Asante For Dedicated Service

The Pentecost Men’s Ministry (PEMEM) of the Mamprobi District of The Church of Pentecost has honoured Elder Kaakyire Kwaku Asante, Presiding Elder of the Korle Bu Assembly, for his outstanding contribution to the growth and development of the ministry over the past decade.

The recognition took place at the Korle Bu Assembly on Sunday, June 21, 2026, during a special service marking the climax of the National Men’s Ministry Week Celebration and the observance of Father’s Day.

Elder Kaakyire Asante’s journey of service within the District’s Men’s Ministry began in 2013 when he served as Secretary of PEMEM. In that role, he distinguished himself through diligence, effective administration, and a commitment to excellence. His dedication paved the way for his appointment as District Men’s Ministry Leader in 2014, succeeding Elder Mensah Boako.

During his ten-year tenure as District PEMEM Leader, spanning 2014 to 2024, the ministry experienced significant growth in membership, fellowship activities, leadership development, and community outreach initiatives. Through his leadership, many men were inspired to deepen their relationship with God and embrace their responsibilities within the church, family, and society.

In recognition of these achievements, the current District PEMEM leadership, led by Elder Stephen Narkotey, presented him with a citation for his faithful and exemplary service. The presentation was met with appreciation from members who witnessed the impact of his leadership over the years.

The Korle Bu Assembly Men’s Ministry also honoured its Presiding Elder with a separate citation. Presenting the award on behalf of the Assembly’s men, Elder Prince Afriyie expressed gratitude for Elder Asante’s unwavering support, wise counsel, and commitment to the growth of the ministry at the local level.

Speakers at the event noted that Elder Asante’s service has contributed significantly to the transformation of men within the District, equipping them to positively influence their families, communities, and workplaces.

The celebration concluded on a joyful note when Elder Kaakyire Asante led the congregation in cutting a specially designed Father’s Day cake adorned with the PEMEM cloth pattern. The symbolic gesture highlighted the significance of fatherhood and celebrated the unity, identity, and impact of the Men’s Ministry within the Church.

THE MAN GOD CAN USE A CALL TO PURPOSE web.jpg

The Man God Can Use: A Call To Purpose

In every generation, God searches for men who are willing to rise above the ordinary and become instruments in His hands. The world does not only need men of influence, wealth, or position; it needs men of character, faith, integrity, and commitment — men who are available for God’s purpose.

Throughout Scripture, we see a pattern: God uses men who surrender themselves to His will. Abraham responded to God’s call by faith (Genesis 12:1-4). Moses accepted the responsibility of leading God’s people despite his weaknesses (Exodus 3:10-12). David was chosen because God looked beyond appearance and saw his heart (1 Samuel 16:7). Joseph remained faithful through difficult seasons (Genesis 39:2-4), and Peter and Paul became powerful vessels for the advancement of God’s kingdom (Acts 9:15). Their stories remind us that God is not limited by human weaknesses; He is looking for willing hearts.

The theme “The Man God Can Use” is more than a statement; it is a divine invitation for every man to examine his relationship with God, his responsibilities, and his influence in the home, church, workplace, and society. God is searching for men who will be committed to His purpose, because “the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him” (2 Chronicles 16:9).

A man God can use is first a man of consecration. Before God uses a man publicly, He prepares him privately. True impact begins with a transformed heart and a genuine walk with God. Romans 12:1 reminds us: “Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God — this is your true and proper worship.” A man who desires to be used by God must surrender his will, renew his mind through the Word, and allow the Holy Spirit to shape his character.

God’s call has never been based on perfection but on availability. Moses had limitations, David faced battles, and Peter experienced failure, yet God used them because they were willing vessels. This reminds us of 2 Corinthians 12:9, where God says, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” When a man places himself in God’s hands, God can transform weaknesses into testimonies and ordinary lives into extraordinary purposes.

A man God can use is also a man of spiritual responsibility. He understands that true leadership begins with service. Jesus demonstrated this when He washed the feet of His disciples (John 13:14-15). A godly man does not only provide materially but also provides direction, love, prayer, discipline, and spiritual guidance. As Joshua declared, “As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD” (Joshua 24:15), men must take responsibility for leading their families in the ways of God.

The role of men as fathers and leaders cannot be overlooked. The climax of this year’s PEMEM Week Celebration on Sunday, 21st June, 2026, which coincides with Father’s Day Celebration, serves as a powerful reminder of the honour, responsibility, and influence God has placed on fathers. A father who walks with God becomes a blessing to his family, a pillar in the church, and a positive influence in society (Ephesians 6:4).

The week-long celebration from 16th June to 21st June, 2026, provides a great opportunity for men to be spiritually renewed, equipped, and strengthened through inspired teachings, prayer, fellowship, and reflection. It is a moment to reconnect with God’s purpose and embrace the call of Acts 1:8: “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses…”

As we celebrate PEMEM Week, may every man be reminded that true greatness is not measured by status but by service to God and impact on lives. May we rise as men of prayer, men of integrity, men of faith, and men who are ready to fulfil God’s assignment.

May the week-long celebration and teachings cause us to become men God can use — men who are transformed by His Word, empowered by His Spirit, and committed to His service.

Kete Krachi PEMEM Holds Transformational Men’s Conference web

Kete Krachi PEMEM Holds Transformational Men’s Conference

The Men’s Ministry (PEMEM) of The Church of Pentecost, Kete Krachi Area, held a one-day conference on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the Nsuoano District Central auditorium under the theme, “Godly Men Unleashed to Transform Their World.”

The conference brought together all thirty-two pastors in the Area and their wives, together with PEMEM leaders from the various districts and local assemblies.

The event was attended by Apostle Vincent Annan Denteh, Executive Council Member of The Church of Pentecost and Director of the Men’s Ministry, accompanied by his wife, Mrs Martha Annan Denteh. Also present was the Kete Krachi Area Head, Apostle Charles K. Fosu, and his wife.

Speaking from 1 Peter 2:9 and Acts 1:8, Apostle Denteh delivered a message centred on the grace of God and the believer’s mandate to influence society for Christ. He stressed that Christian men are divinely called to become agents of transformation and not merely passive church members.

Relating his message to the Church’s “Possessing the Nations” agenda, he urged the men to embrace their God-given responsibility of impacting their homes, workplaces, churches, and communities with godly values.

Apostle Denteh further highlighted the importance of strengthening every ministry within the church, noting that the effectiveness of the church depends on the vitality and balance of its ministries.

The Men’s Ministry Director also reiterated the four thematic areas of the ministry’s strategic plan introduced in 2020 — spiritual, physical, psychological, and social development.

He encouraged men to deepen their relationship with God through prayer and evangelism while also paying attention to their physical wellbeing, mental growth, and social responsibilities.

The conference concluded with a strong call for holistic development among Christian men. Participants were reminded that men who desire to transform society must first become spiritually grounded, emotionally stable, physically disciplined, and socially responsible.

The gathering served as a renewed call for men in the Kete Krachi Area to rise and fulfil their God-ordained mandate as transformational leaders.
