The newly constructed mission house of the Wiawso District of The Church of Pentecost has been dedicated.

The 7-bed manse which was built at a cost of GHȻ 426, 929.00 was dedicated by the Sefwi-Wiawso Area Head, Apostle John Obeng Kesse, on Friday, 25th October 2019. He was assisted by Pastor Benjamin Atta Bentil, the district minister and the pastorate in the Area.

Speaking at the service on the theme, “Rebuilding the Tabernacle of Worship in Possessing the Nations,” the District Minister of Dwinase, Pastor Emmanuel Yarquah, said since the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, God has been looking for the opportunity to restore man’s lost glory.

According to him, the worship observed in the Old Testament was a prelude of what God wanted to establish for man. Taking his readings from Amos 9: 11 -12, John 4: 24 and 1 Peter 2:5, he stated that the covenant worship of David was much better than the former of which Christ enunciated in the New Testament which was devoid of ritualistic worship but rather a heart of worship.

He continued that true worship entails the totality of the individual in service and honour to God. “Our whole lives and everything we do must serve as worship. This form of attitude should be translated into serving God in church,” he stressed.

Pastor Emmanuel Yarquah admonished believers to worship God in the spirit of holiness in all that they do in their daily lives such as their dressing, speech, behaviour and so on.

In attendance was Nana Agyenim II, who is an elder of the church, and other dignitaries.
