Pentecost University, one of the highly-rated universities in Ghana and Africa, in partnership with EL-Empire and BeScience of the United Kingdom, is set to host the second edition of the STEM Social Ghana Conference in Accra.

This is in line with the University’s efforts to champion a campaign in additive manufacturing, robotics, and animation in Ghana and beyond.

The event, scheduled to take place on 9th December 2021 at the Pentecost International Worship Centre, Atomic (PIWC-Atomic), aims at stimulating the study and exploration of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) and related fields. It would also educate participants on career opportunities that exist in STEM fields, according to a press statement released by the University yesterday.

The statement further reveals that the event would comprise workshops, panel discussions and exhibitions in a socially lite environment. The panel shall include leading scientists and prominent persons driving highly intensive scientific businesses and institutions such as Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research, Uber Technologies Ghana, MEST Africa, NSBE, selected ministries and government agencies.

The conference is expected to draw over 3000 participants comprising students, guests, and exhibitors.

EL-Empire and BeScience STEM are multi-award-winning charities founded in the UK. They provide means for young people to creatively explore STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) in their communities to change misconceptions and break down barriers.
