The Kaneshie Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Samuel Osei Asante, on Sunday, August 27, 2023, dedicated the Nii Okaiman English Assembly church building.

The Nii Okaiman District Minister, Pastor Franklin Mawunyo Quarcoo, and some ministers in the Area, including Pastor Adu Gyamfi Donkor, Pastor Anthony Kwadwo Obeng, Pastor Alex Fofie, and Pastor Slyvanus Alade, were present to assist the Area Head.

Also present were Mrs Elizabeth Osei Asante (Wife of the Area Head), Nana Hemaa Osibri I, ministers’ wives, Area Women’s Ministry Executive Committee members, as well as some officers in the Nii Okaiman District.

Speaking at the event, Apostle Asante, also an Executive Council Member of the Church, acknowledged the faithfulness of God towards the assembly, which was established in 2012.

Exhorting the congregants on the topic, “Holiness; God’s Moral Attribute,” he explained that it is the presence of God that sustains a church and not just the beautiful building and that the presence of God which will bring this sustenance is made possible by living a holy life.

Referencing Leviticus 11:41-45, he explained that God instructed the Israelites to consecrate themselves by not eating particular creatures that He deemed unclean, stressing that going contrary to this directive made one unclean.

Apostle Asante revealed that there are attributes of God, such as His eternal nature, that separate Him from humans, but when it comes to God’s moral attributes like holiness, He shares them with humans.

He stated holiness is God’s central ethical character around which all His moral attributes rest.

Apostle Asante mentioned that one can live a holy life by being born again, living by the word of God, being prayerful, being under the guidance and control of the Holy Spirit, determining not to sin or live in sin and acknowledging that it is God who makes believers holy; hence, learning from Him.

The Nii Okaiman English Assembly church building project was funded with grants from the Church’s Headquarters, Kaneshie Area, District, and offerings raised by the local assembly.
