Apostle Emmanuel Agyei Kwafo, the National Coordinator for Home and Urban Missions (HUM) of The Church of Pentecost, took active part in the “Christ for All Missions” outreach in the Kintampo and Duayaw Nkwanta areas within the Techiman Sector of the Church.
The outreach began with a training retreat from August 7 to 9, 2023, held at the Techimam Dwomor Central Assembly auditorium during which participants from various districts within the region were equipped and sent out to the Kintampo and Duayaw Nkwanta Areas. The actual outreach, however, commenced on August 10, 2023, and ended on September 10, 2023.
Apostle Kwafo’s visit to the Kintampo Area, from Monday, August 21, 2023, to Tuesday, August 22, 2023, where he joined the team at the Kunsu District to reach out to lost souls and strengthening the faith of others.
During an evening fellowship at Kunsu Central Assembly on Monday, Apostle Kwafo urged everyone to value and cherish their mother tongue.
He advised conscious efforts in training children in their mother tongue and emphasized making soul-winning a priority for all, not just a task for a select few.
He stressed the importance of intentionally engaging unreached groups, using the example that even the Fulanis, through God’s grace, have been ministered to within The Church of Pentecost.
The Kintampo Area Head Apostle Francis Agyemang Badu, expressed gratitude to the visiting team and pledged substantial support for HUM activities.
The Kunsu District Minister, Overseer Emmanuel Apaah Aggrey, appreciated the visit and assured the National HUM Coordinator of their unwavering support for HUM activities in the Area.
The team visited the community named “Miawani,” where members of the Christ for All Nation Outreach Team shared the gospel with residents.
Apostle Kwafo and his team also took the opportunity to share the gospel in the Kunsu community, personally leading two gentlemen to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Subsequently, Apostle Emmanuel Agyei Kwafo proceeded to the Duayaw Nkwanta Area, where he joined the Outreach team for a similar exercise. He worshipped with the natives in Techimantia in their native language, actively participated in prayers organized for the community, and pronounced blessings on them.
Accompanying him on this visit were Pastor Kwasi Bukari (HUM Pastor – Techiman Sector), Pastor Philip Osei Agyemang (Kintampo Area HUM Coordinator), and Pastor Augustine Odehyieba Ababio (Jema Nkwanta).
