The wife of the Afram Plains Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Mrs. Juliet Boakye Agyarko, has urged children to obey the instructions of their parents and their teachers in order to become successful in life.

She made the remark when she organised a breakfast party for 364 Sunday School children selected from Donkorkrom and Atakora districts to climax this year’s Mother’s Day celebration.

The event which took place on Sunday, May 12, 2019, was meant to put smiles on the faces of the children.

Speaking on the topic, “Possessing the nations as a child,” Mrs Boakye Agyarko admonished children to be obedient to their parents and shun bad behaviour. She admonished them to listen to instruction since it is the very foundation of their success in life.

The children were served with beverages, porridge and bread, amounting to about GH¢1,000.00.

The event was attended by Pastor Francis Lamptey and his wife Linda of Atakora District, Deaconess Gladys Mireku (Area Women’s Ministry Leader) as well as Children’ Ministry leadership of the beneficiary local assemblies.

Report by Pastor Francis Lamptey, Afram Plains Area Reporter.
