Mansin District Mission House & Central Assembly Church Building Dedicated

The Duayaw-Nkwanta Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Prophet Fred Antwi, dedicated the Mansin District Mission House and the Mansin Central Assembly church building on Sunday, August 20, 2023.

The special service also saw the official inauguration of the Mansin District, created from the Bechem Ahenebronoso District and approved during the 46th General Council Meeting held in May this year.

Among the dignitaries present at the historic event were Mrs. Queenzy Antwi (Wife of the Area Head), Nana Fosu Ababio (Chief of Mansin), Deaconess Nana Adoma Kyerekuwaa (Queen mother of Ohianimguase), and Mr. Paul Oduro Kwakye (Assemblyman for the Mansin Electoral Area).

Preaching on the topic “Called for a Purpose,” Prophet Fred Antwi stated that, apart from the general call to faith, every believer also receives a specific divine calling.

The General call, he explained, is what the believer receives when they are saved from sin, while the Specific call refers to God’s ordained assignment for the individual.

Quoting from Romans 8:28-29, Prophet Antwi urged believers to identify their callings and work towards them with zeal, stressing that “God foresaw and planned the destiny of everybody.”

He also urged Christians to remain resolute, particularly in times of adversity and testing, as every call involves a process of refinement.

Also in attendance were the pioneering minister for the district, Probationary Overseer Emmanuel Baffour, his wife, Evelyn, and their family, who were officially welcomed into the district. The service was also attended by the Duayaw-Nkwanta Area pastorate, as well as officers and members of the Mansim District.
