Jomoro MP Graces Tikobo No.2 District Mission House Dedication

The Member of Parliament for Jomoro Constituency and Deputy Minister for Chieftaincy and Culture, Hon Paul Essien, who is an elder of the Church, on 28th April, 2019 graced the dedication service of the Tikobo No.2 District Mission House in the Axim Area of The Church of Pentecost.

The fully furnished five-bedroom mission house with a garage and office was dedicated by the Axim Area Head, Apostle Philip Osei-Korsah, assisted by Overseer Eric Oppong Asomah, the District Minister, and the pastorate in the Area. The district was created out of the Samenye District in August 2016.

In a sermon, Pastor Samuel Coffie, the District Minister of Essiama District, spoke on the theme, “Chosen by God as a Precious Stone to Build His Church” taken from 1 Peter 2:4-5.

He admonished the congregation to allow themselves to be chosen as vessels by God to be used in building His church. He advised the church to dedicate their lives to Christ.

The Area Head, Apostle Philip Osei-Korsah, on his part, used the opportunity to educate the members and the community people on environmental care.

Also present at the service were Nana Avo Nweah V, Chief of Tikobo No.2 and Mrs Hannah Osei-Korsah (wife of the Axim Area Head).

Report by Probationary Overseer Daniel Atuah, Abura District.
