God Doesn’t Despise Those He Uses – Apostle Anane Denteh Tells Christians Leaders

The Sefwi Wiawso Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Vincent Anane Denteh, has admonished the clergy, their wives, and lay leaders of the Church to continue to serve God faithfully for He will never put them to shame.

Speaking to the theme, “I Will Build My Church” at the Opening Session of the Achimota Area (Achimota Zone) 2019 Apostolisation at the Achimota Central Auditorium on Monday evening, March 18, 2019, Apostle Anane Denteh noted that there is no division in the body of Christ because Christ is all and in all.

Taking his scripture readings from Matthew 16:13-19, John 14:12 and Ephesians 1:23, he explained that, “the Church is a group of people who are bought by the blood of Jesus Christ and have their lives being totally influenced by the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Touching on the purpose of the Church, he said: “The Church exists to showcase the true nature of the Lord Jesus Christ to the dying world. When anybody comes into contact with the Church, he or she must see Jesus Christ being revealed through her.

“Never as a leader of God’s Church say that you came by yourself and will leave anytime you are not treated fairly. No, if you have ever made such statement retract it and ask God for forgiveness.”

He added: “Once we give our lives to Christ Jesus we are not on our own again but we are His. And wherever Christ reigns there is no decay, failure and sin.”

Apostle Vincent Anane Denteh encouraged the leaders to study and understand the Church’s mission and vision statements so as to diligently execute them.

Referring to Acts 1:8 he stated that, “the Holy Spirit came to empower us to possess nations. We should not confine our Christianity to the four corners of our church buildings but we must go out there to transform our societies with the Kingdom principles of God.

“As leaders of God’s Church, we must be involved in vibrant evangelism and be committed in discipling souls to be like Christ Jesus. We must patronize the Church’s Environmental Care campaign and pursue other agendas that will bring development to the society we live in.”

Present at the service were the Pastorate and their wives in the Achimota Zone.
