The Gblapedo District in the Aflao Area of The Church of Pentecost has inaugurated the Virtuous Ladies wing of the Women’s Ministry.
The colourful event, organised under the theme: “The Empowered Lady, A Key To Possessing The Nations” (Proverbs 31:29), was held at the auditorium of the Central Assembly on October 17 this year.
The Special Guest of Honour for the occasion, Mrs. Faith Dzemekey (Wife of the Aflao Area Head), encouraged the young ladies to lead a chaste life consecrated unto God.
“The purpose of the empowerment of God is to make you ready to positively influence every sphere of the society with values and principles of God’s kingdom,” she asserted.
Pastor Samuel Ansoadek, the Gblapedo District Minister, also encouraged the young ladies to manifest Christian traits as genuine brides of Christ on earth.
Ten souls were won for Christ at the event and baptised in water on the same day.
Also in attendance were Deaconess Mary Elorm Wormenor (Area Virtuous Ladies Coordinator), Deaconess Grace Senu (Area Women’s Ministry Leader), and Mrs. Eunice Asoandek (Wife of the Gblapedo District Minister)
