The Anyaa-Ablekuma Area of The Church of Pentecost, led by Apostle William Ohemeng-Kwakye, has made a significant donation to support missions work in and outside Ghana.

The donated items received by the Yendi, Sawla, and Tumu Areas included 105 pieces of half-piece cloth, 30 pieces of two-yard cloth material, 3 pieces of kente, 6 pieces of lace, 11 pairs of shoes, 16 pieces of women’s scarves, and 10 bedsheets.

The Anyaa-Ablekuma Area also purchased and donated four motorbikes to different areas for evangelistic purposes.

The Tempane District in Bawku Area also received a Royal motorbike, while the Sankpala District in Tamale Area was gifted a Haojue motorbike. The Aglakope District in Hohoe Area and the Jinavore District in Sawla Area were each provided with a Royal motorbike. In addition, the area donated a cash amount of GHȼ20,000.00 to the Zoipe District in Ho Area for the purchase of a tricycle.

The Anyaa-Ablekuma Area has also extended its benevolence beyond its borders. The area provided financial support to the external mission in Guinea Bissau, with a generous cash amount of GHȼ20,000.00 given to aid the purchase of essential evangelistic equipment.

This donation by the Anyaa-Ablekuma Area of the Church of Pentecost has been highly appreciated and commended for its commitment to supporting missions work.

The recipients of the donation have expressed their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the valuable contribution made towards their evangelistic efforts.

This generous act of kindness by the Anyaa-Ablekuma Area will go a long way in supporting the missions’ work and improving the lives of many people.

The Old Tafo Area of The Church of Pentecost has donated a brand new Haojin motorbike and clothing to the Afram Plains Area as part of efforts in fulfilling the “Possessing the Nations” agenda of the Church.

Led by the Area Head, Apostle Daniel Yeboah Nsaful, and the Area Missions Committee, the items were presented to the Afram Plains Area Head, Apostle Victor Kwasi Asamoah, who was joined by his wife, Rebecca, at the Old Tafo Area Mission House on Monday, April 24, 2023.

According to Apostle Yeboah Nsaful, missions play a vital role in reaching out to the world with the Gospel message, therefore, it is very necessary to lend a helping hand to this cause and inspire ministers in those areas with the needed logistics.

He said that the progress in the mission fields is a positive sign that the Kingdom of God is advancing which means that many are turning towards Christ, and to do that, support is indispensable.

He was optimistic that the motorbike and the clothing will go a long way to influence growth in the Area and also encourage members to appreciate the love of God.

Receiving the items, the Afram Plains Area Head, Apostle Victor Kwasi Asamoah, thanked the Old Tafo Area and the Missions Committee for the gesture and further encouraged other Areas to follow suit.

He added that deprived areas like Afram Plains are in dire need of motorbikes and tricycles to facilitate the spread of the Gospel. 

He also thanked the Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, for his kind act during his visit to the Area and expressed how the act has greatly benefited them.

Present at the brief presentation ceremony were Pastor Emmanuel Otu-Gyan (Old Tafo Area Secretary), Pastor George Amesawu (Area Executive Member), Pastor Manasseh Mintah (Area Youth Leader), and a cross-section of officers from Afram Plains Area.

The Bompata Area of The Church of Pentecost has made a generous donation to the Pentecost International Worship Centre, Navrongo (PIWC-Navrongo).

The donation, comprising a brand new motorbike, a megaphone, a bicycle, and a bag full of new clothes and footwear, were mobilised by the Area during the McKeown’s Missions Week held in March.

The Bompata Area Missions Committee Chairman, Pastor Joshua Kwabena Donkor, made the donation on behalf of the Area.

Upon receiving the items, the Bolga Area Head, Apostle Emmanuel Kwesi Acquah, expressed his appreciation to the Bompata Area Head and Executive Council Member, Apostle Yaw Adei-Kwarteng, and the entire membership of the Area for their generosity.

The PIWC-Navrongo Resident Minister, Pastor Eric Asante, also expressed his gratitude for the timely gesture, saying, “Your kindness shall be an everlasting memorial.”

He added that “the motorbike and the bicycle will help us to effectively reach out to more schools in our weekly schools’ outreach, whereas the megaphone will enable us to speak to wider audiences.”

The Yennyawoso District in the New Tafo Area of The Church of Pentecost has donated items worth GHC 35,300.00 to support the missions enterprise of the Church.

The items, which included a pair of mid-speakers, a power mixer (12-channels), a cordless microphone, a brand new Apsonic motorbike, 300 pieces of wax print, a bale of clothing, footwear, 20 handbags, and many others, were presented on Friday, April 21, 2023, on behalf of the District Minister, Pastor Charles Oduro, by the District Missions Committee Chairman, Elder Philip Kwaku Boateng, at a short presentation ceremony held at the forecourt of the Central Assembly auditorium.

According to him, the donation corroborates the Vision 2023 agenda of the Church, which aims at possessing the nations for Christ. Pastor Charles Oduro, who doubles as the Area Missions Committee Chairman also received the items on behalf of the Area Head, Prophet Samuel Tetteh Doku.

He expressed profound gratitude to the donors for the kind gesture and wished them God’s blessings.

He was hopeful that the gesture displayed by the Yennyawoso District will go a long way to help reach out to the unreached with the Gospel.

He further assured that all the items would be delivered to the appropriate quarters to serve the intended purpose.

Present at the short presentation ceremony were Elders Anthony Anane (District Finance Chairman), David Kwaku Boahen and Thomas Obiri Yeboah (District Missions Committee Members).

The Atomic Hills District in the Haatso Area of The Church of Pentecost has donated a brand-new Sonlink motorcycle worth GHS 8,900.00 to the Kawie District in the Sawla Area of the Church.

A short donation ceremony occurred on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at the Church’s General Headquarters at La in Accra.

Presenting the motorbike, the Atomic Hills District Minister, Pastor John Viscount Arkoh, expressed his belief that it would significantly contribute to the growth of the Church’s mission work in the Kawie District. 

The Personal Assistant to the International Missions Director, Pastor Gideon Kofi Boadu-Yirenkyi, received the motorbike on behalf of the Church and expressed his gratitude to the donors for the generous donation.

Assisting Pastor Boadu-Yirenkyi was the Senior Administrative Manager to the International Missions Director, Mrs Victoria Kumi-Woode, and the Human Resource Manager at the Headquarters, Elder Samuel Mantey Addo.

The Pentecost International Worship Centre in Konongo (PIWC Konongo) has donated two motorbikes, valued at GH¢ 18,800.00, to the Atsiave and Amantenaman districts in the Sogakope and Konongo areas, respectively.

The amount was raised during the 2023 McKeown Missions Week celebration held last month.

The Konongo Area Head, Apostle Daniel Owusu-Akyaw, with assistance from the Resident Minister, Pastor Edmund Mawunyo Duvor, dedicated the motorbikes and presented them to the ministers-in-charge of the two beneficiary districts at a short ceremony held on April 9, 2023.

In response, the ministers expressed their profound gratitude to God and the entire membership of PIWC-Konongo for their thoughtfulness and genuine show of love towards them and the Kingdom’s work.

They stated that the motorbikes would go a long way to ease their burden and help them effectively spread the gospel and win more souls for the Lord.

The Pentecost International Worship Centre, Seattle (PIWC-Seattle) in the California Region of the United States of America has donated 11 boxes of clothing and shoes to the internal missions areas of The Church of Pentecost in Ghana.

The items were presented to the missions directorate by Deaconess Mrs. Lydia Owusu Acheampong (Women’s Ministry Leader of PIWC-Seattle), and her husband, Mr. Chris Owusu Acheampong, during a short donation ceremony held today at the Church’s General Headquarters, La in Accra.

Handing over the items, Mrs.Lydia Owusu Acheampong said that the donation is an initiative of the Women’s Ministry with support from the entire church.

“We are confident that this will contribute significantly to the propagation of the Gospel in the mission areas,” she said.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Church, the International Missions Director, Apostle Emmanuel Agyemang Bekoe, assured the donors that the items would be put into good use and distributed to the appropriate areas.

He also thanked the women for their thoughtfulness in supporting missions work in Ghana, urging, “Tell the men to also follow the lead of the women by doing exceptional donations.”

Present at the donation were some staff of the Missions Office including Pastor Gideon Boadu-Yirenkyi (Personal Assistant to the IMD), Mrs. Victoria Kumi-Woode (Administrative Manager To IMD), and Deaconess Ruth Adjabeng (Accounts Manager).

The family of Apostle John Obeng Kesse, the Suame Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, has donated rechargeable (LEGACY PRO) speakers to four internal missions Areas of the church at the cost of GHS 10,000.00.

According to Apostle Obeng Kesse, the Lord laid on his heart during this year’s McKeown Missions Week to purchase the speakers for the internal mission Areas.

The beneficiary districts were Kajepere District in the Tumi Area, Najong District in the Walewale Area, and Kwasifanti and Dwarf Island districts in the Afram Plains Area.

As a former missionary, Apostle John Obeng Kesse prayed that the items will be put to good use to harvest souls through the use of the speakers to possess all spheres of the communities.
