The Director for the Counselling Ministry of The Church of Pentecost (COPCOM), Apostle Dr Phillip Osei-Korsah, has advised ministers and wives of the Church to be diligent in taking good care of the flock entrusted to their care by God.
Apostle Dr. Phillip Osei-Korsah gave this admonition during the opening of the minister’s session of the ongoing Bolga Area Officers Retreat (Apostolisation).
Addressing the ministers and wives, he said that, as shepherds, they should focus on the state of the flock rather than what they stand to gain from them.
Quoting from Ezekiel 34:1-16, he pointed out the great responsibilities that ministers and wives are expected to execute as shepherds.
“Ministry goes beyond the outward flamboyance. Do not let that be your focus,” he entreated.
Present at the session were Apostle John Kobina Budu (the Northern RCC Coordinator and Tamale Area Head) and Apostle David Amankwaa (Bolga Area Head), as well as the Bolga Area pastorate and their spouses.
Also in attendance were Mrs. Agatha Tawiah (Wife of the Tamale Area Head) and Mrs. Rosemond Amankwaa (Wife of the Bolga Area Head).Report by Bolga Area Media
