Borehole Facility Commissioned At Sankpala

The Pentecost Child & Youth Development Centre of Compassion Ghana International has commissioned a mechanised borehole with a 2000 litre capacity reservoir for the Sankpala community in the Northern Region of Ghana.

The water facility was funded by the Christian Assembly Church in Los Angeles. USA through Compassion International Ghana at the cost of GHC 73,180.78.

Pastor B.A.M. Abogorago (Tamale Area Secretary) commissioned the facility on October 24, 2022 on behalf of the Tamale Area Head of the Church, Apostle Sylvester Arhin, with assistance from Overseer Prince Owusu Antwi.

Present at the event were the Chief of Sankpala and his elders, heads of institution, students and some residents of Sankpala.

The water intervention comes as a great relief to the Sankpala people who have endured an age-long water crisis.

Filled with joy and excitement, the people expressed gratitude to The Church of Pentecost and the sponsors of the project for the timely intervention.
