The Tema Area Head of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Emmanuel Ofei Ankra-Badu, has officially broken ground for the construction of the Mission House for the proposed Ningo Ahwiam District.
The sod-cutting was performed on Thursday, March 30, 2023 and was witnessed by a cross-section of the Tema Area pastorate and their wives, including Pastor Boachie-Ansah, the Great Ningo District Minister.
The proposed district is set to be carved out of the Great Ningo District after the Executive Council of The Church of Pentecost approved of its creation.
In a brief exhortation based on 1Kings 5:13-18, Apostle Ankra-Badu charged the leaders and members of the Church to support the project with communal labour so as to cut down cost and complete it within the stipulated time.
He also advised the leaders to ensure proper supervision and engage the right professionals in executing the project.
Among those in attendance were Pastor Alex N. K. Oppong, (Tema Area Secretary), Pastor Peter M. Awitor (Prampram District), Pastor Osei Kwadwo Abunyewa (New Dawhenya District), Pastor Jonas Beddim (Dawhenya District), and Pastor Percy O. A. Danquah (Tsopoli District).
