The Aflao Area of The Church of Pentecost has organised a praise and worship conference dubbed, ‘Redeemed Praise.’

The annual event, which was held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, was attended by members of the church from across the Area.

In a short exhortation, the Area Head, Apostle Michael Agyen Brefo, said that giving thanks to God should be a paramount feature in the life of every believer because God is the source of their existence, stressing that it is the Lord’s mercies that sustain them.

According to him, praise and worship are the redeemed’s core duty.

Reading Psalm 107:1-3, 9-9, Apostle Agyen Brefo noted that Christians appreciate His everlasting goodness and mercies towards them by giving thanks to God.

“Our God has been so good to us in our going in and coming out, in good and bad times, and in our troubles and afflictions. Therefore, we have the cause to praise Him for how far He has brought us,” he stated.

Ministers Eli Bryant and Millicent Komashie took the congregation through a thrilling worship and praise session.

As part of the service, 108 new persons, comprising 38 elders, 32 deacons and 38 deaconesses were ordained as officers of the church. Apostle Agyen Brefo admonished them to be loyal to the church and serve the Lord diligently.
