The General Secretary of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Samuel Gyau Oboubi, has paid a working visit to the Pentecost Secondary Technical School at Gbawe to familiarise himself with the institution’s operations and assess its activities.
The visit which took place on Friday October 9, 2026, provided an opportunity for the Church’s headquarters to gain first-hand insight into the school’s operations and engage with students on the institution’s academic and spiritual objectives.
Addressing the students, Apostle Oboubi described the school as a good place to pursue their education, assuring them of quality academic instruction alongside opportunities for spiritual growth.
He emphasised that the school’s mission goes beyond academic tuition, explaining that it also seeks to create an environment where students can encounter God and develop their Christian faith.
Acknowledging that the school, as a pioneering institution, could face some initial challenges, Apostle Oboubi assured the students that efforts were ongoing to provide a conducive environment for effective teaching and learning.
He encouraged them to remain disciplined, take their academic work seriously and make the most of the educational opportunity available to them.
The General Secretary stressed that the institution seeks to produce students who are not only academically sound but also well-cultured, well-taught and disciplined.
He urged the students not to waste their time but to recognise the value of the opportunity they had been given and work diligently towards a bright future.
The working visit forms part of efforts to familiarise the Church’s headquarters with the school’s operations as the institution pursues its educational mission of combining academic excellence with spiritual development and character formation.
