Achimota Chief Celebrates PEMEM Week At Abofu Worship Centre

As part of the activities to culminate the 2022 Pentecost Men’s Ministry (PEMEM) week-long national celebration in Abofu Worship Centre in the Achimota Area of The Church of Pentecost, the Chief of Achimota, Nii Ayi-Bonte Adams II, was invited to a special lunch buffet on Sunday, 19th June 2022 at the worship centre.

To promote unity, love and family life, members of the church invited their spouses who were not members of the church as guests for the occasion.

The Worship Centre was therefore privileged to host the Chief of Achimota, Nii Ayi-Bonte Adams II, whose wife is a deaconess of the church. It was glorious when Nii appeared in his PEMEM cloth with his entourage.

The chief shared a few words of advice to Christian men and urged them to take up their full responsibilities as fathers in the home. He urged men to take a keen interest in the development of their children. He thanked God for The Church of Pentecost and wished all the members well in their endeavours.

The Resident Minister, Pastor Augustine Arthur-Norman, on his part, expressed gratitude to the Chief and his elders for ensuring a peaceful relationship between the church and the community.

Pastor Arthur-Norman commended the Area Head, Apostle David Tettey Tekper, and the Area PEMEM Executive Committee members for helping them to hold a successful programme during the week.

He called on the men to exhibit the Kingdom values and principles in their spheres of life.
