The Youth Ministry of Kwadaso Area of The Church of Pentecost on February 18, 2019, honoured the Area Head, Apostle Kingsford Kyei-Mensah for his tremendous support to the ministry.

Apostle Kyei-Mensah, who retires from active ministry this year after 34 years of meritorious service to God and The Church of Pentecost, was presented a citation by the Kwadaso Area Youth Ministry in gratitude to him for facilitating the sponsorship of 10 Senior High School (SHS) students in the Area.

Apostle Kyei-Mensah, who is a former Evangelism Director of the Church, is also acknowledged for assisting a lot of the youth in the Kwadaso Area in their trade and up-keep.

The citation was presented to him by the Area Youth Ministry Leader, Pastor Abraham Nana Bamfo Oppong during the ministry’s first Apostolisation meeting in the year 2019.

Speaking on the theme: “I Will Build My Church,” Apostle Kingsford Kyei– Mensah encouraged the youth to see themselves as agents of change in their communities.

According to him, “Israel was chosen by God in the past to be His own people through whom He demonstrated His power and wisdom to all nations.”

He, however, stated that in the New Testament, God has chosen the Church (both Jews and Gentiles) for a dual purpose. This dual purpose is that God has called His church out of the world and He has also sent the church to go back into the world to possess the nations. “God used the Israelites in the past but now He is using the church to fulfil His purpose,” he added.

After the exhortation, Pastor Philip Anane, Kwadaso Sector Travelling Secretary, led the congregation to pray for the grace and power of God to be agents of transformation wherever they found themselves.

In all, a total of 608 members took part in the programme.
