The Northern Sector of the Ministry to Persons with Disabilities (MPWDs) has donated cash and relief items worth GH¢20,000 to the Physically Challenged Action Foundation in Offinso.
The donation, presented on Sunday, July 12, 2026, forms part of the Ministry’s strategic plan and demonstrates the Church’s commitment to meeting the physical needs of less privileged people while sharing the gospel with Persons with Disabilities (PWDs).
Items donated included bags of rice and maize, beans, cooking oil, biscuits, drinks, packs of mineral water, toiletries, Bibles and cash.
The Offinso Area Head, Pastor Justice Afful delivered the items and cash on behalf of the Ministry and Church leadership. He encouraged beneficiaries, who also form the nucleus of the MPWDs Assembly in the area, to remain resolute in their faith and urged others in the community to emulate the Church by regularly supporting the centre.
Elder Sylvester Barima Antwi, founder of the Physically Challenged Action Foundation, expressed gratitude to the MPWDs and the Church’s General Headquarters for remembering the centre and supporting its work.
Speaking to the media after the presentation, Pastor Joshua Korku Semador, Northern Sector Coordinator of MPWDs, said the Church is committed to reaching all people, especially Persons with Disabilities, with the gospel and preparing them for the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Present at the presentation were Pastor Austin Fuachie (Area MPwDs Coordinator), Pastor Isaac Ekow Yarquah (District Pastor, Ahenkro District), Pastor George Kyeremanteg (Area Secretary) and Elder Michael Owusu (Area Deacon).
