In alignment with Vision 2028 and the mandate to “Possess the Nations,” the Babile District of The Church of Pentecost has successfully executed a wide-reaching School Outreach Ministry Project across 15 communities within the Lawra and Jirapa districts of the Upper West Region.
Carried out between February and March 2025, the initiative extended godly influence into the education and health sectors by providing essential learning materials and healthcare support to schoolchildren and their families.
A total of 4,400 exercise books were distributed to 4,200 students in 14 basic schools through the district’s “1 Child, 4 Exercise Books” initiative. The exercise books, costing GH₵9,500, were funded through contributions from members of The Church of Pentecost – Babile District, the Darkuman Central Assembly in Accra, Apostle Benjamin Debrah (National Head, Sweden), and the Babile Area Youth Development Association, which also printed 750 of the books.
In a further act of community care, 4,500 National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) cards were renewed free of charge for children and residents, following successful negotiations with the NHIS National Head Office.
The project has brought significant relief and joy to the beneficiary communities, reinforcing the Church’s commitment to influencing every sphere of society with Kingdom values. It also strengthened the Church’s visibility and impact in both the educational and healthcare sectors.
‘To God be the glory for the successful execution of this vision-driven project’, stated the Babile District Pastor.
